Hi there!

Trying to decide between BCV and BWV for our next trip ~ have yet to stay at either. Something that might sway the decision is the order in the MK bus loop.

I know that multiple EC area resorts share buses... does anyone recall if the MK bus pick up at BCV first or at BWV?

TIA,

Kathy

I've stayed at BCV twice over the last year & it only shared a bus to MK with YC. It stops at YC 1st. I believe BWV shares with Swan & Dolphin. I think that can change late at night when they don't need as many buses from MK, but I could be wrong about that.

BWV are picked up 1st so you get on an empty bus (very nice!!), but dropped off last. However, Swan and Dolphin are the 1st to be dropped off, so if you get off there you can take the bridge over to boardwalk and be home in your room before the bus even makes it there :)

The BWV bus loop changes according to crowd levels. FWIW, every time I have taken the bus to MK from BWV (at least 20 times), BWV was the first to be picked up AND the first to be dropped off. However, I have read of other scenarios.

Recently when I've stayed at BWV, the route was BW-Swan-Dolphin to MK.

Each of our many visits to BCV the MK bus in the morning was only shared with the YC. The YC was picked up first.
I have had an evening ride with all 5 resorts inclued, but I don't remember where we started from.
It does vary based on need.

In Nov, the BW was always the first to be picked up, and always the last to be dropped off. And it seemed like it made about 15 stops before the drop off. :) It wasn't 15, but it felt like it!! We were at the far end of the Inn side, so the walk from Swan/Dolphin would have been a bit of a hike.

Since the routes vary, I would suggest using other considerations to make your decision. Will you have young (under 6 or so) children with you? If so, they might prefer the BC/YC pool, and proximity to a character meall. Older kidlets might prefer the incredible views at the BWV's, community hall. And a much less crowded pool to swim in.
Adults and kids over toddler age would most likely enjoy the evening BW activities also.
:)

Would it be feasible to walk to Epcot and take the monorail to MK? Or are the busses a better choice?

If you have hopper tickets, that is an option. But it will take longer than the bus.

And it's not an option for MK rope drop because you can't get into Epcot and all the way through to the monorail line until the park opens, which would normally be the same time (or later) as MK opens.
