BCV Bus Stop Refurb

Just wanted to take a minute to post that the bus stop at the BC and BCV is being refurbished and the temp bus stop is in the parking lot of the BCV. We went over yesterday to eat and parked there as we normally do. Only half of the parking lot is open and the other half is being used as a bus stop for ALL of the resort. All guest are walking to and from the resort, through the not so quiet pool to get back and fourth. Is was quite a mess with folks everywhere. I heard this is going on for 6 weeks, but not sure when it began. We are at the BWV, but anyone heading to the BCV soon, may have to encounter all of the extra noise on the villa side of the resort with the extra people and all of the buses coming and going (and of course the parking issues of only have half of the parking lot available.) the half closest to the tree area is for the buses.

We were staying there from 4/10-4/17 and I believe it started on 4/9 or 4/10. It worked out great for our family because we were in a studio villa on the 4th floor near the stairs and we came out right by the bus stop (#475). I did not find it very noisy but I must say that the bus drivers had no clue what was going on at first. We had one bus driver from DTD drop us off right inside the gate by the main road. He told us that was the bus stop and I tried to point him in the direction of the tents they had up but he would not hear of it. He told me I could get out there or stay on. We got off the bus and the walked over to get back to the room and saw a bunch of people waiting for the DTD bus. I reported what happened to a security guard who was stationed by the makeshift bus stop and he said he would call it in but I felt bad for the people who were waiting for the bus. Not sure how long the construction will continue but I did not find it to be a big deal.

Yuck! I would HATE this! Sure hope it is all over by the time we get there (July 1st). Figures they moved the bus stop over by the villas- since dvcers have less flexiblity in moving than many regular guests., they might be less likely to complain?(ok , this is probabaly not the real reason, but sometimes we have been given the feeling at bc that dvc memebers are not as important as other guests) I know if I was going soon and slated to stay in that area (and wasn''t staying on points) I would probably be looking to move (if possible!)
