BCV Advice Please

My DH has never been to Epcot but loves all that he has heard me talk about in regards to Epcot so we are thinking of a long weekend in early to mid 2009 whenever a room is available for a studio for 3 days.

I do not know much about BCV but the fact that it is an easy walk to Epcot. So I have a few questions. Are there any room sections (or views) that are better than another for a studio or are they all equally nice? Secondly, is it also an easy walk to Hollywood Studios (if we get time to go)?

I would appeciate as much info as possible. I just got back from my home resort of SS and loved it (going back in May 2009 for 11 days) but thought that BCV would be good just for an Epcot visit.

Just back from BCV end of August - have stayed several times an never had a bad room. While you can walk to Hollywood Studios, I would suggest jumping on the boat from Beach Club vs. the walk.

We've only stayed there once-we had a view of the quiet pool-I remember rooms facing the wooded area, which I think would be nice. Sitting by the pool (SAB) you have a wonderful view of the lake and Boardwalk area! My husband and I walked to HS and I don't think it took more than 10 minutes-there is also a boat that leaves from the dock-it's a nice ride but has several stops. I think it would be a great location for a long weekend-be sure to visit the piano bar-Jellyrolls-we really enjoyed that. The Flying Fish restaurant is also on the Boardwalk-don't miss that! Have fun planning!

We always stay at our lovely BCV "home" and have had all kinds of views. None of them are "bad" as such and anyway, we never spend much time in the room.

The walk to EPCOT is 5-8 minutes via International Gateway
Boardwalk is 5 moniutes.
Hollywood Studios is 20 minutes but as above would reocmmend the boat.
