Disney's Beach Club Villas announces new check-in process

Having tested a Member check-in location in the lobby of Disney's Beach Club Villas since August 2007, resort leaders have announced that, effective June 1, 2008, all Members and Guests staying at Disney's Beach Club Villas will check in at the front desk of the adjacent Disney's Beach Club Resort.

The move once again establishes a single, consistent check-in location serving both Disney's Beach Club Resort and Disney's Beach Club Villas.

That's too bad. I liked the easy checkin at the villas.

Bummer, my DH and DS checked in at the villas in April and really had a great experience. Oh well, I guess they have their reasons.

That's awful. Just posted on another thread about this. I will be sure to let them know how much I will miss the check-in at the Villas.

We liked the separate check-in too.

It was only EASY if you were the only person checking in. If there were several people it was a mess. The CMs running around trying to get the right keys/passes etc from one printer. Only one counter etc.

I thought this was kind of a strange move so I have no problem with them going back to the main desk.
