Platinum cruisers are permitted to check in at the concierge desk. But, we always look to see which line seems to be fastest. Even a short line at concierge can take some time as there are fewer CMs and, I guess, more stuff to go over.
Good question. I would assume that they do. While it may not be set up like Port Canaveral, there should still be some counter space reserved directly for Platinum guests.
I know that Dover does, along with other European terminals. I would assume that they do, somewhere near the Concierge check in. If you don't see it at the port, don't hesitate to ask.
Thanks! I saw from another thread that you typically preload your onboard account. Have you ever had any problem? I plan to do that by calling DCL before this cruise, but I'm concerned about boarding, it not showing up on my account, and then, having to deal with the issue from Barcelona...

Thank you for asking, I can confirm I always work out a rough budget on port adventures and palo , etc, then pre load the stateroom account. I have never had any issue.
The ship, even in Barcelona can contact USA and sort any issue out, normally I get little tickets in the room on embarkation to confirm credits, and it will show on stateroom TV on the Magic.
