I just registered for the princess half marathon, and since we have never stayed at an Epcot resort, I thought it would be fun to try this time. We will probably be having dinner in Epcot most nights, and I think my kids will enjoy DHS. Which of these 3 would you recommend with 3 boys, ages 8, 6 and 2? I have always wanted to stay at BC/YC for the pools, but it will be February and the weather could be iffy (though it probably won't matter to my kids!) a friend recommended BWI, but i don't know much about it. Swan or dolphin are also possibilities. Thoughts?

I'd stay at the YC :) Get awesome use of the pool if it's warm enough and they all have balconies (except I think 1 room?)

BWI is more convenient to DHS than BC or YC.
BC is the most convenient to Epcot of the three. Only 50% of the rooms have a full balcony, though.
YC gives you a guaranteed balcony and access to SAB.

Our favorite is the BC because Epcot is our favorite park and we don't go to HS as much as to Epcot.

But all three of them are great. :thumbsup2 Sometimes it is warm enough to swim in February and sometimes it isn't. But it is one of the driest months of the year, so you have a good chance of sunny weather. :)

I think all three of them are excellent resorts. Pick the theme that most appeals to you. I always tell everyone not to worry about choosing between YC and BC based on Epcot location. The 200 or so yards that BC is closer to Epcot is no big deal IMHO.:thumbsup2 My personal favorite though is the YC.

If you don't have a car I'd say YC or BC. We stayed at BC in may and I noticed that web sharing busses/boats, BW was always last to be dropped off. It went S/D, YC, BC, then BW. I always felt bad for the boardwalk people, esp when crammed in the hot boat midday coming home from DHS!

Out of the 3 we've only stayed at the BC, but have visited the YC and BWI many times and I don't think you can go wrong with any of them. I would look at the theme/decor of each and choose the one that appeals to you the most. Good luck.

That's us, exactly, :thumbsup2 , you will love any of the three.
Have a great stay!

BWI is the most convenient to HS if that matters, especially if you book a standard room. I personally would choose BC/YC for the pool though (keep in mind it is heated).

I've stayed at the Dolphin and while I liked it fine, it lacked the Disney "feel".

Are your kids strong swimmers? if not - SAB might be a frustrating experience for you. Also with the little one you'll want to be on the sand shallow part of the pool which is fun when it is hot but not so fun for the older ones if they want the cool features of the pool. When mine were 7&6 we ended up having to carry them around in the water so they could experience SAB. It is a really really fun pool but you might want to save it for when they are a bit older. There is a nice kid play pool across the walk way on the beach side where there is a little slide and a nice shallow pool. My kids did love that but were feeling a little ripped off that they couldn't enjoy the 'big' pool.

YC/BC are really the same - just pick which theming you like better.
Given all that -

We love BWI. We love the theme - and even the crazy clown pool. I feel like it is a calmer more relaxed experience.
