I was wondering if anyone can tell me what you see as a view in the standard view room at the BC? My sister is coming with my DS and I for a short trip in December, we had wanted to stay at CSR or CBR but there is no availabilty at those resorts for our dates with the Winter Dream Maker. So I thought the BC would be nice (I love it there). My sister's only request is not to look at a parking lot. Since this is my second trip this year I was hoping to keep the cost down but I want my sister to enjoy the resort too.

We stayed BC standard view, last January when we were there. It was really nice. First of all, it was really cold when we were there, so it's not like we were going to be spending lots of time hanging out on our balcony watching the water. Second of all, we had a really nice room, kind of large I think, right at the beginning of a hall. Our view, which was from a standing room balcony, was of sort of an interior area, looking down on grass, and either another wing of the BC, or possibly we were looking out on the new Beach Club Villas. I can't remember exactly, but I do remember that it was a very pretty, relaxing view. Not a parking lot or a bus in sight. I absolutely LOVE the Beach CLub, they treat you so nicely there, the location CANNOT BE BEAT (can you tell my favorite park is Epcot?), and I just know that you will have a great time. Sure, there must be some rooms that look out over the parking lot, but I think the chances are much greater that you will find yourselves with a very pleasant view.

We just returned from the beach club a few days ago. We had a standard view room, 4622, which faced the courtyard and the villas. Off to our far left was the parking lot but you really could not see much of it as there were trees blocking most of that view. We had a full balcony and really did have a pleasant view, considering it was standard view. To be honest with you, although facing a pool seems like a nice idea, when we walked passed the quiet pool area and saw people sitting on their patio(first floor), I thought that must be noisy and not much privacy. I felt our view was quiet and more private although it really was too warm to sit on the balcony for any length of time. I am sure you will all love it and I wish you a great trip!!:D
