We have never stayed at the BC before. Our last stay was at the CR and although it was nice the pattern on the carpet drove my parents crazy. They kept trying to step over the black lines that were part of a very bold pattern in it. We had to keep catching them so they would not fall and hurt themselves.
So this time we are looking for the quiet peaceful colors at the BC. I just hope the rooms are large enough to accomodate a wheel chair. I also hope that the 2 queens and 1 day bed is really a feature in the type of room we have requested.
We got upgraded at Beach Club and did absolutely nothing to get it. Matter of fact, I wasn't even especially nice (tired). Go figure.
The Beach Club doesn't have preferred buildings or a food court. It is a hotel, with restaurants. The Carribean Beach has preferred buildings and a food court. Is that where you're staying?
If you request a handicapped room, you'll get one. If they promised you one and don't deliver, they would not only be in violation of federal law(s), they'd have a heck of a PR problem if you went public with it.
