BBB/CRT Scheduling

My ADR day is a few days away and I'm wondering if anyone can help me with BBB/CRT scheduling. I've never done BBB, so I'm not really sure what to expect. I know it will be hard to get.

If we were able to get everything we wanted, our ideal plan would be:

1) Staying at Beach Club, so we want to Rope Drop Frozen from IG.

2) either FP or single rider: Test Track

3) take the monorail to MK

4) 3 girls getting hair, nails and makeup at BBB

5) lunch at CRT

6) Head back to Epcot for Space Ship Earth, The Seas with Nemo and Friends, Soaring and F&W

That's about the size of our whole day. My questions are:

1) About how long would it take us to get from Test Track to BBB? I've done this several times, but never on a time schedule. In my plans I'm giving it an hour. Wondering if I should give us more time.

2) I have no idea what time to aim for CRT. How long would you give 3 girls at BBB?

3) I've read that even though ADRs open online at 6am est, you have to do BBB by phone at 7am est. Is this true? Any advice?

4) We are doing DDP for the 1st time ever on this trip. How do ADRs work with that for CRT? I know usually you have to pay in advance.

In our experience, the actual BBB experience is in the 30-40 minute range. However...on more than one occasion, we have waited an HOUR for the reservation!! Usually the wait time is much shorter (often we've had more like a 10 minute wait), but there's no way to predict. We almost missed dinner at CRT once due to this ridiculous wait, so I now leave 90-120 minutes between BBB and dinner. If we have extra time, we shop and/or people watch, or with more extra time, check the wait times and pick a ride with a shorter line. I only have one daughter, so I can't offer advice about three reservations. If you're lucky, you'll be able to make all three at approximately the same time. I'd schedule CRT for 90-120 minutes after the last BBB reservation.

Edit:
The MDE system should recognize the dining plan and not require prepayment. It might ask for a credit card as backup. If it does require full prepayment (it happened to me once), call, and they will fix it either by making the ADR with the dining plan or, if (like me) you prepaid, they will refund your card and make the reservation again with the dining plan. It's 2 TS credits.

We always scheduled BBB two hours before CRT. We usually have plenty of time doing that- and typically can even go ride the Ariel ride or maybe even Small World before CRT. One time we did have an unusually long wait for BBB, and that time we went straight from BBB to CRT before going to the photograph area, and then went back for photographs after CRT.

Was it later in the day that you had the long wait? I'm thinking the wait might get more and more backed up as the day goes on.

We are planning on making it there by about 12:30.

Yes, both of the times we had the very long waits it was mid/late afternoon (somewhere between 2-4). Earlier seems to be better from what I’ve read. I’ve never been lucky enough to get a morning BBB time.

We also have left 2 hours between BBB and CRT. Our appointment is in the early morning so very unlikely to take 2 hours but we have appointments for three children so maybe an hour? We figured we would try to squeeze in a ride or two before CRT.

Might be a stupid question but, staying on site and hen I do dining reservations you get the 180 + 10. Would that also include BBB or does it have to be at 180?

Yes, onsite guests can reserve ADRs and BBB at 180+10. We reserved BBB at 180 days + 2. We did our online ADRs at 6:00 EST and we called exactly at 7:00 am EST and had no problem getting an 8:05 BBB reservation for 3 kids.
