BBB - any experiences?

Does anyone have any experience of this on the cruises? We are on the first Dream cruise after this is added and have BBB and Pirates League booked and we're wondering whether to keep either or both.

If anyone has any specific on the Frozen part of the BBB package (the hairstyles not costumes), that would be even better.

Thanks.

Not on the dream, but we did the Anna and Elsa on the Magic. DD did the Elsa package without the dress (because she owned the dress). It was really fantastic. They pulled her hair back and added Elsa's braid with snowflake jewelry in it. Then light makeup, nail painting, glitter, face gem, etc. I'm sure the actual style and such is the same or very similar on the dream. She also got the normal BBB sash, backpack and unexpectedly a plush Olaf (though the Olaf may have just been a Magic thing, I wouldn't expect that). My only complaint was that the braid itself wasn't braided well, but I think that was just the fairy godmother we had (who seemed very new to the job). I "let it go", but in retrospect wish I'd asked her to braid it tighter. I, fortunately, could fix it myself.

Following. I have always wanted to do this. We sail on her actual birthday (11/2...8 yrs old) and was debating on whether to do this and if so on embarkation day or the next day.

Did you do the crown package? We have a dress also and I was wondering what the price difference is.

I honestly don't remember the prices or the name of the packages.

I don't think they're available on embarkation (I may be wrong). I recommend doing it the late afternoon of whatever day is the dress up or formal night (depending on your cruise).

I have a package booked for embarkation on our upcoming Magic cruise. 7:30pm

Thank you, your post has just made my mind up that we will definitely be doing this package! We also have the dresses (and Anna's) so don't need the full package.

Let me check online, the package I have booked for DD's mentions being able to do the Anna or Elsa makeover for an extra fee.

This is what it says online but no mention of what the additional fee is.

Yeah, that is what I saw also. I was wondering what that cost was because my daughter really wants to be Elsa but, I really doubt they will be able to do her hair. My cousin told me she had to help them do her daughter's hair and I don't want to pay extra and still have to end up doing it myself

It was 124.95 for the Elsa or Anna package without the dress on the Magic.

Wow, unfortunately at that price I will be changing my mind and just doing the Crown package. More than double the cost just for a different hair style is a bit ridiculous. With 2 daughters, I would have to cancel their pirates league appointments to be able to do this.

My youngest did the crown package at BBB at Disney and it was so worth it. She felt like a true princess and the reactions from others that night and the next day were phenomenal. Pocahontas asked, "Are you a princess in your land?" She was walking on air.

We did it for our daughter and for the time she was there it was fun (took about 50 minutes), but once she left, she wanted to go into the pool....needless to say we came up with other activities but make sure it's not a pool day for you or it's pretty much a waste of money. We will stick to BBB in the parks instead :)
