BBB and Pirates League?

ok our wdw vacation is in a couple weeks. My son is 4 and is super excited. I have purchased memory maker already and made reservations at Pirates League, got a fastpass for enchanted tales with belle, booked a ton of character dining meals, and now I am considering booking Bippity Boppity boutique for the knights package. He loves the pictures on the internet of the boys that have it done with the sword and shield but I am wondering if its really going to be a different experience than the pirates league or just more of the same?? Getting the value out of my memory maker makes me more inclined to let him do it but I don't want him to be bored. Has anyone done BBB with a boy that doesn't have a sister?? Is he going to look out of place?

My DS did it when he was 4 and loved it. He does not have a sister and was the only boy there when we went. At 4 he didn't recognize how princessy it was. He's now 6 and would probably not be interested anymore. It's not as immersive for boys as pirates league, but super cute. It took all of 10 minutes to do my son's hair. Just beware, it takes a lot of shampoo to get the gel and sparkles out. If your son wants to do it, go for it! When we went it was only $15 which I thought was a bargain. He really enjoyed it!

I do not have a son but my daughter has been to BBB 3 times and i have never seen a boy there getting the knoghts package, it is definately designed for girls, conversly i did bring my daughter to the Pirates league to become a Mermaid, that was really cool.

We brought my son with his sister. The package was ok. The sword and shield are cute. He still plays with them.
