Bazzill tag swap bumping for new questions pg 2 #25

:confused3

So there are so many colors I'll never have a complete set? Wow...

Or we could do 10 sheets 18 people, that would be 180 different colors.

This option sounds good.

My LSS told me Bazzill makes 347 colors and they carry the whole line.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
So, having just said that, we could do a group of 35 and get all of the current colors if everyone does 10. AND, we'd only have to buy 2 sheets of each color. Not bad!!!
I'm making a list of the colors from the Bazzill Site, if anyone wants one when I finish, PM me your E-mail addy.
I'd like one. I'm pretty sure you have my email.
I think we could do a whole set. I'm counting now.
Shauna does that include the bling and smoothies?
Yes. It's been a while since I asked though so I'm calling them to confirm. I'll post in a second.
:lmao: It's actually worse than I had originally thought.
With the new additions, they now carry over 500 colors/textures. They just reconfigured their Bazzill area last month and no one knows exactly how many there are now.
Sorry!
I thought 347 was a bit low.
I went to the Bazzill Website and added thing up, I did not include the cardstock with an edge
Birthstone: 12
Bling: 40
Burlap: 20
Classics: 29
Criss Cross: 90
Destinations: 30
Grasscloth (Fourz): 96
Monochromatic: 75
Orange Peel: 26
Smoothies: 40
Washboard: 23
Total: 481
And there are still lots of discontinued colors floating around in LSS's and online.
I'm up to grass cloth now. I'm at 176 so far. I didn't count the edged ones though.
If we did all of them for 18 people, that would be 26 sheets a person. That seems a bit much all at once. Maybe we should decide by texture. Then keep the same people for another round in say Sept for another section. Yes, no?
Count me in for either way. I need the tags to be able to match colors for when I order paper. Are we going to put the names on each in hand writing or clear labels. on the non textured side? When are sign-ups?
S :)
I'm interested in the full sheets 12x12, not the edged ones anyway, so that part is great for me :teeth:
Hmmm, 26 individual sheets, is that going to be alot out of pocket all at once? I've not done individual sheets before, only bulk for swaps...
I'm good with doing textures and splitting this up over a few months. With DS16 driving and expecting money from the Bank of Mom, I've got double tanks to fill now...so any way we can spread it out is good for me...
As for shapes, whatever is least waste. If cutting rectangles, and rounding 2 corners, and then making our own holes works for everyone, no waste, that works for me too. Cricut tags are great, but there is waste. I like to pocket this stuff in my purse side pocket (Vera Bradley side pockets) so smaller is better for me...but I'm good with whatever everyone else wants too...
Buffy thanks for doing this, it's a great idea!
I will probably do sign ups Friday to Sunday, depending on if we make a decision on how we are going to do this.
I don't think the labels will stick so I was going to hand write them. Writing with a sharpie works in the textured side.
At most, say .75 per sheet x 26 that would be $19.50 plus shipping, then ship to me, then me ship back.
Probably $40 (on the high side), once we're all said and done.
Well, I would be up for doing all of them at once. 26 sheets isn't that bad considering that I normally buy 60 at a time. I just think the cost of shipping to buy a few now, then sending the tags to you and getting them back and then repeating the whole process again would cost more than just doing them all at once.
I'm up for whatever but just thought I would throw that out.
Good point, think we can get 18 people to sign up?
so I got 434, looks like they have the cross cross colors on there twice.
so 434 / 18 = 24 sheets per person +1 for someone (I can do the extra sheet).
So I went through everyone that posted here and if everyone joined that would only leave 2 spaces left. I'm sure I can con Princess Nancy into joining so that would only be 1 space. If we could get 2 more for 20, that would be 21 sheets per person.
Mazda if you ordered paper, you could have it shipped to me, that would save you $$. I don't mind cutting them for you.
One other thought. Since there are so many colors, couldn't we send you the labeled squares to swap out and then punch the holes/round the corners/whatever according to our tastes when we get them back?
That would save an awful lot of work on your end.
yep, I posted that elsewhere. ;) I will still supply the rings though, I can get them at Staples.
I sent you an email too with the full list.
Saw the note AND received the email. So, (not that I'm impatient or anything) but when are sign-ups? :goodvibes :lmao:
not a clue. this seems to be a2 way conversation right now. LOL
so we'll wait until everyone else chimes in. Either Friday to Sunday or Monday to Wednesday.
