Bazzill tag swap bumping for new questions pg 2 #25

I think this is a great idea, but I would be happier with a smaller size - the biggest my Xyron can do is just under 4" (don't forget we don't all have Expressions), and that would be one tag, so to do 12 tags I'd have to cut the paper into 4x4 squares and there would be a lot of wastage. How about cutting the sheet into 2x4 rectangles (so 18 tags per sheet) and rounding the corners and punching a hole? Or just rounding the corners and people can choose where to put the hole, of they want an eyelet etc. ?

But I would find it a helpful thing to have as I have to get my bazzil online so I never know quite what I'm getting

I know someone who would be happy to cut out tags on her expression for you;)

I like this idea. I would love to get in on this swap, I never know what color I need.

1) would 2x4 (18 tags) or 3x4 (12 tags) sizes be ok with rounded corners? I'm thinking 2x4

2) would you like me to do the holes so they all line up and send rings home?

3) would you like to do sign ups now, order your colors, and mail to me to be swapped out after I get back from WDW?

4) would you like 1 big group or groups by shade? I'm thinking 1 big group, with multiples of 18 so we don't have extra paper. 18 (1 sheet), 36(2 sheets), 54(3 sheets)(would be my max but I doubt we would have 54 people sign up)

5) how many sheets per person? I want to make this worth wild if everyone is ordering paper for this.

I've got a bazzil trio coming (Aspen) so that would work for me

So in order for this to be worth while, you would want to fill a priority mailer, but not go into a box. Correct?

You need 18 per group -- everyone does what 8 different colors? How many sets of 18 tags will fit in a priority mailer -- I think 8 would anyway. 8x 0.75 = 6.00 for paper -- and that price is on the high side. You would end up with 144 tags.

How do you decide on colors without repeats -- first come first serve?

1) I like the 2x4 size.

2) I don't know what you mean by "do the holes".

3) I can do sign-ups now but I'm not sure what I'm signing up for or what to order. Sorry for being confused.

4) One big group of multiple tags is fine. How are you getting 18 tags out of one sheet? Are these tag shapes on the Cricut or are we just cutting squares and writing the name of the color on each one? If we are cutting squares, do the corners really need to be rounded?

yes I want to stick to an envelope.

I just threw the 36 tags I have in an envelope and there is a ton of room. Granted we would need room for the baggies, they should fit in the snack size ziplocs. I think if you double stack you should get 8 baggies in, no problem. the mailer is approx 12 x 9. 2 rows on the bottom, and 2 rows on the top.

the colors would be first come first serve. Using the Bazzill basic website as our guide. There are multiple papers too with the same color but different texture, so one could do Pomegranate crisscross and someone else could do Pomegranate smoothie.

144 slots, 8 sheets each.We could do that. Let me make up a template for sign ups. Be right back.

2) If we do the rectangles (see #4) then I would punch the holes for the jump ring so they were uniform. I'm anal like that. LOL

3) I'm working out the details now in my head.

4) If we did just the straight cut (no cricut) at 2x4 you will get 18 rectangles. The rounded corners look nice but we don't have to do them. Less work if we don't and you can round them later if you want (the general you, not you specifically).

A true swap-o-holic -- don't know what you're signing up for, but you want in anyway!

:lmao: Not exactly! I know I'm signing up for badly needed swatches so that is good. I just don't know how the sign-ups are working. I know I didn't specify that right. I have an addiction. :rotfl:

2) I'm OCD that way too. :goodvibes Are you good punching that many holes?

3) OK

4) It's no problem if we want them rounded. I was just thinking that could be a lot of work. Majority rules on this is fine.

So, if we do one really big group, are we going to have enough variety? I would like as many swatches as possible. Would it be better to do groups by color so we get a wide range in each color line?

Etc etc.

'K. So I could potentially sign up for 26 groups and then do 18 different colors? Is that what I'm reading?

:guilty: Sorry for not getting this. I'm usually better at this stuff. It must be the pain meds for my knee/kidney stone. :confused3

Or we could do 10 sheets 18 people, that would be 180 different colors.

sorry, I'm confusing you, I was on the phone with Mom getting an update about my cousin.

I'm in. Just tell me what the group decides. I always need a color match.
S :)

I'm making a list of the colors from the Bazzill Site, if anyone wants one when I finish, PM me your E-mail addy.

I want to do this. The 10 colors per person for 18 people sounds good to me. Either tags or 2x4 rectangles works for me too.
