So I have no idea what the names of the bazzill papers are but I have quite a collection of them. I have started cutting out 4 inch George tags and writing the names on the tags. See pics below.

What do you think of a Bazzill tag swap later in the year, I'm sure we can use scraps from the 8x8 ABC albums.

We could all pick a few colors in the same family and go from there. But if we do it in a few months,we can scout out the colors we want.

What do you think??

Are we making blank tags with the color name on them or doing embellished tags for pages.

Sorry - my brain must be shutting down from lunch.

I so want to do this, I'm always looking for just the right color and online sometimes it is hard to tell. :)

blank tags, keepin' it simple. I will look just like the pics. I don't even mind hand written words either.

this is for future shopping purposes. Bazzill makes a book, but it's like 40 bucks. too rich for my blood.

It is just making the tags and putting the color name on them. :)

yep, then we can take the ring to the scrap store and match up colors or if we need to order colors online you get some idea of what you are looking at. We can also add smooth texture and bling in the bunch too.

Brilliant! I am so in on this one. I never know the names of my fave colors.

I'm going to participate because I own the Bazzill swatch books already, but it SOOOOO makes it easier for matching paper and shopping.

I think tonight I will sacrifice a sheet of white 12x12 paper in the expression and the baby bug to see how many tags we can get out of one sheet. That will help us judge how many people need to be in the group.

I like this idea, but would they have to be 4 inches? I'd have a hard time sacrificing so much Bazzill for that cause. Seems that smaller would do the trick too.

You don't have to sacrifice -- just hit autofill and then okay. It will tell you how many times without having to actually cut it.

believe it or not 4 inches is pretty small, it's a huge difference between the 4 and 5.

After So You Think You Can Dance is over, I will snap some more pics.

I think this is a great idea, but I would be happier with a smaller size - the biggest my Xyron can do is just under 4" (don't forget we don't all have Expressions), and that would be one tag, so to do 12 tags I'd have to cut the paper into 4x4 squares and there would be a lot of wastage. How about cutting the sheet into 2x4 rectangles (so 18 tags per sheet) and rounding the corners and punching a hole? Or just rounding the corners and people can choose where to put the hole, of they want an eyelet etc. ?

But I would find it a helpful thing to have as I have to get my bazzil online so I never know quite what I'm getting

we can do that too. I'm flexible.
