Has anyone been able to make a reservation at either of these resorts yet?

MS has not yet started taking reservations for either.

BLT reservations begin on 3/1 for owners and 3/15 for non BLT owners for check in dates of 9/1/2009 and later.

THV reservations begin on 2/8 for SSR owners and 2/22 for non SSR owners for check in dates of 6/1/2009 and later.

I received a 'Passporters' newsletter today that said that Tree House Villas are now bookable by existing vacation club members?!!! Is that right as I had the same booking dates of 8th and 22nd Feb?!!!!

This was posted over on another thread this morning. I'm taking it as rumor until we hear something official, but thought y'all would want to see it.

good morning all:

just this am i was on the phone with dvc guest relations for another ressie and wanted to confirm march 1 for blt ressies. she told me that they were just told there may be a date change (after march 1st, not before): it has not been officially announced, and to keep checking the dvc member website. i did and do not see any change as of yet. has anyone else heard this?????????

Does the 7 month window still apply for nonowners? It seems like march 15 for Sept 1 reservations would be less than 7 months?

My newsletter said they were on sale, not that you could book a stay there yet(?) As far as I know, the dates had been 2/8 for owners and 2/22 for non-owners, though when I spoke to a member services supervisor yesterday, she said that those dates had been pushed back (though the website didn't reflect this when I last checked).

I called member servies today and was told that the Tree House booking dates have not been set yet and to watch the website for the exact dates. I know many have said Feb. 8th but has that been posted anywhere offical yet?

We got promotional points for buying into AKV, but we're told they can't be used for THV.

I don't recall the lingo for the promotional points.

Does anyone know how many points per night BLT will be for Sept 2009? Im interested in going from a Sun-Friday in Sept and would LOVE to be able to book Contemporary! but I can't find a points chart for the new DVC!? Help! And also, what are the odds that I would be able to get BLT? Is it even worth trying? I'm not a DVC member, I would have to find someone to rent me points....

I spoke to a manager at Member Services and he confirmed that it was 8th Feb for Saratoga Owners and 22nd Feb for non-owners for Tree house villas!!!!
Hoping they'll be one left on 22nd for me!!! ha! ha!

I am confused. I just talked to MS and asked if I would be able to book on 2/8 I was told yes but the 100% info would be posted online. So if I am not an owner at SSR I will or will not be able to book for July on 2/8 since it is less than 7 months out. I need to wait until 2/22 right? Which would mean that he was incorrect??

I'd like to know the answer to that too as I am a 'non SSR' owner who would like to book for August which is less than 7 mnths out!
