hi all! was wondering if somebody could tell me if we get a studio at bay lake towers with a magic kingdom view is that a decent view of fireworks from there? we have two little kids who will go to bed early so id really like to be able to sit on the balcony to see them!

It should be a good view but there are always exceptions. The higher the floor the better and you won't see the view until you get the room.

There are some MK view room photos on the BLT views thread. All MK view rooms have a view of the fireworks.

We recently had a MK view room that wasn't that great. It was on the 4th floor and you could only see the MK on the balcony and if you looked to the right. I was really hoping to be able to see better from inside the room because our son is still scared of the noise the fireworks make so he wanted to watch them from inside which wasn't really possible. That being said, once on the balcony, you could see the fireworks very well. You could almost hear the Wishes music on the Contemporary sound system except they had the volume cranked up for the outdoor movie every night making it difficult to hear much of it.

Here is a picture of fireworks from what is probably the 2nd to worst MK view studio - 4th floor, 7428.

The only worse view MK studio is right below this one on the 3rd floor.

This room you had to go out on the balcony to see the fireworks and some other rooms you won't have to. Since BLT does not have a direct front view of the castle the fireworks will appear to be way behind the castle or, as in my picture, above Space Mt.

Kat4Disney, this was our room that I mentioned above! It was kinda disappointing. It was our 10th anniversary and I asked for a "high" room and got this one instead.

Lol - from your description I kind of thought it was! It was my very first stay at BLT and my only request was a high room too. I know not everyone could get that but this room was worse than some of the LV room views IMO. Disappointing indeed. I did write to member satisfaction after that stay and expressed my dissatisfaction in the room classification.

You should ask for north tower and high floor. The north tower is closer to MK.

It never hurts to ask, but imo too many people know about the lake view rooms with partial MK views. We asked for North tower, even number, high floor. Got the high floor but also south tower, odd number. We had a baby with us and did not enjoy the loud music from the pool all afternoon.

The studio is pretty small and may seem smaller still with two little ones. You can't really open the sleeper sofa and set up the pack and play, too. Not enough floor space unless you block the way to the bathroom.

If you don't own at BLT, you are going to have a hard time booking the theme park view.

I had your room on the 3rd floor. What a waste of points for a parking lot view!

When we were on the 4th floor "complaining" about our view, I was thinking, "the only worse MK view room is the one below us on the third floor!"

I agree it was a bit of a waste of points.

We stayed on the 7th floor and it was truly perfect. I'm sure higher was also great, but you're ok if you're on the 7th floor. We had a studio with our two daughters and hung out on the balcony each night and had some drinks and watched fireworks while they were fast asleep inside or while they were watching TV (and they were 11 and 8 at the time).
