Bay Lake Towers at 7 months?

Quick question, does Bay Lake Towers usually book-up before the 7-month window opening?

We're going the middle of March next year and I was wondering if this should even be an option. We're looking for a 1-bedroom villa.

I'm assuming the standard & MK view rooms will be snatched up by BLT owners, but what about Lake views .

I have seen people mention availability at 7 months at many times of the year (not December) a LV room would be a possibility depending on when in March and how heavy the spring break or possibily Easter crowds are at the time.

The middle of March is prime Spring Break season. I highly doubt you will get 5-7 days there at the 7 month mark in a 1 bedroom

We've gotten a 1BR at BLT at the seven month mark twice -- a SV in late Feb last year and a LK for late April this year.

I think you have a really good chance of getting at BLT, especially a 1 br lake view. Just call first thing in the morn at your 7 month mark. Good Luck

As long as you call exactly 7 months out, you will have a decent chance of getting lake view, you will likely have no chance of getting standard or MK view. Do not wait beyond the 7 month winbdow because anything that exists will disappear quickly.

We are staying at BLT in August and had no difficulties booking at 7 months out for a 1bedroom LV, for a 12 night stay. Good luck!

Thanks everyone! It sounds promising and I'll definitely be calling at the exact 7-month mark.

We only need 4-nights. We like to split up our stays at a couple different locations each trip. We're staying the first part at AKV Concierge and we really would like to try BLT .

My fingers will be crossed.

You might want to book those four days at your home resort now and see if you can change them out at 7 months.

We stayed in a 1BR LV at BLT last July. We booked it right at 7 months.

(Btw, our "Lake View" was probably more "MK view" than "Lake View".....we loved it!)

Lake View is the largest booking category. So you should be fine.

I would book the dates at your home resort now though so you have a backup plan.

For this year I booked at exactly 7 mos and got a 2 BR last week of March without problems. For one week. I don't know what it will be like when more people own there.

That is an impressive booking for 7 months out. I guess there is more supply than demand than I thought.

You might want to book those four days at your home resort now and see if you can change them out at 7 months.

That is great advice as you are already booked for your dates and won't get stuck in SSR or OKW (not that that is bad)

At the 7 (well 6) month mark we got BLT LV for our upcoming trip in June. Of course we wanted a standard view, but it was not available. But we are so excited that we got what we got!

This will be our first trip to BLT and I am interested in finding out how it is to be so close to the MK magic

Already done . We just like to mix things up a bit so even if we don't get BLT we will try for a different resort.

I got a 1-br standard view for Nov. 12-19 last year and a 1-br lake view for Oct. 22-29 this year, both at 7 months.

I called at the 7 month mark right at 9am, and I already had a reservation at SSR just in case.

Are there more one bedrroms than studios? I called this week at the 7 month window hoping to book a studio and there were none available....not even for one day! Veterans Day weekend, and the last weekend of Food and Wine.
