Some people think bay.be is getting out of hand so heres the deal. I want you to vote and express how you feel. I on one hand do sometimes do bay.be but never will I let them have stuff unless its Christmas but only if there big. I dont give to bay.be bc I think I do enough just by letting them into my happy home.:santa:

I think it's silly. If you want to play house, why not play in real life with your siblings or friends? Much more scope for the imagination for that sort of thing in real.

Exactly. Do you really need a VIRTUAL realm in which to do something that is much more fun in real life?

I think bay be is the most ANNOYING thing on VMK, even worse than taken. If you're going to do bay be, keep it in a guest room, not the public rooms. It is incredibly frustrating trying to carry on a conversation and have to see bay bes going "tank wo" and "-cries-", etc. I almost always press ignore on anyway I see doing that junk. Like Clarity said, much more fun to play house in real life. On VMK, it's just plain annoying.

I find it annoying also, however I recently read in the newsletter that it is ok to play house on VMK as long as you dont go too far. I believe they said something to the effect that it is ok to play pretend on VMK as long as you only do or say things as if your real life mommy or daddy were standing right over your shoulder watching you, and they would approve, hmm.

I think Bay be is sooo ANNOYING and STUPID! It's actually sad that possibly pre-teens are acting like they are 1 years old...

Uh no in the newsletter is said that Bay be is against vmk values because it falls in the lines of adult actives.

I agree with MizBubble that bay.be is ANNOYING! But taken i think is much more common and even more annoying. Many guys have come up to me and asked, "Are you taken?" Of course I always respond with "I don't do taken!!" But bay.be as I have seen it mostly stays in the "day care" guest rooms. Rarely have I seen it out and about in public rooms.

I voted the last option: I'm disgusted that people have to go so far for attention. I mean, I don't really see the "fun", (if there is any), of pretending you're a baby, "mummy" or "duh duh" on a virtual game! There is so much more to do!

Yeah, I agree.

Bye the way HPGal, I don't see you here in the Gryffindor Common Room ;)

This is what was written this week on this subject:

1. Dear Mr. Yeti, I like to play pretend in VMK. My friends and I play house, but I'm not sure if it's okay to pretend to be a mommy or a baby. I don't want to get banned - is it okay to play pretend or not?

It's okay to play pretend in VMK – so long as you follow the VMK Values. But when you're playing pretend, imagine that your real mom or dad (even your school teacher), are sitting right next to you watching you play. Would they approve of what you're doing and saying? If so, it's probably okay, but if you think they wouldn't approve, then that's behavior you should probably not take part in – and may very possibly get you banned.

Keep that in mind when you play VMK, it's ok to pretend, but adult situations that are not appropriate for children are NEVER appropriate for VMK. If you're in doubt, don't risk it, because it's better to be safe than sorry.

Thank you all for posting polls and I read the names of thoe who voted. I must say the section saying I am disgusted people have to go so far for attention is doing well with the highest percentage of the vote.

Well that's bc i'm down in Hogwarts' dungeon trying to steal some lacewing fly and boomslang skin for my polyjuice potion!! :stir: Shhh, just don't tell Snape! :ssst: (I don't want to get detention AGAIN!) :faint: But I'll be up there soon. It's almost time for my Chocolate Frog snack! (I'm missing Agrippa)
ROFL :wizard: :lmao: :rotfl2: :rotfl:

The newsletter isn't being that specific about this. All parents are different. VMKers can't explain that to VMK when they get banned.
OT: As for the poll, I chose No and I am disgusted.
