Our Baton Rouge / Louisiana Disers had discussed a DISMEET :

Saturday, April 21st
Mall of Louisiana
Baton Rouge

OPEN to ALL Dis Fans... Louisiana, surrounding area, etc.

Location: Upstairs near the "Down" elevator (The "usual" Place for those who have attended before) This is near the Smoothie King/Popcorn Stand.

TIME: 11am - until we get tired of talking about Disney or have somewhere else to go..... (Usually this means we'll be there a couple of hours for folks who may run late!)

WHO is "IN" ?????

I don't think I'll ever make a meet because every time, we have something planned. On the 21st @ 11, we'll be checking in at BWV.

As much as I want to, I won't be able to make it at that time. I am doing an Autism walk on the day from 9:30am till like 12:30pm I think. So 2 pm would be the earliest I would be able to make it. I completely understand if it can't be changed though. No need to move everything around just for me.

I should be there! In all the craziness going on that is the one weekend we don't have something to do!! (Bowling state finals are this weekend and prom is the 28th!)

I have GOT to get in the Disney spirit! At least I have started a countdown finally LOL

Jujube: I think we will "Vote" that a trip to WDW qualifies as a valid excuse for missing a Dismeet ! (of course you have to bring us with you)

I'm taking 4 high school seniors-my daughter, her best friend and their boyfriends for their senior trip. Drama will ensue. You might want to rethink coming on the trip.

(DD19 is a Theater major to boot !)

Yea, I am actually flexable that weekend. Maybe I can even swing a little vacation shopping too. (I haven't even gotten suitcases out). In years past, those puppies have been out at least 3 months in advance!

The next day (Sunday) is the Earth Day celebration in downtown Baton Rouge, which is really great. Besides the environmental activities, there is a BUNCH of great music and the vendors always have good Louisiana comfort food! I never miss it if I can help it!

I'll make sure to have plenty of Dishugs for Jessica on our DIsmeet on May 30th if necessary...
