Bathrobe and slippers

I am home a lot except the days I work which is 2 days a week. I wear a robe and cuddle duds all winter. There are days I do not get out of them. Same with my girls. I am always in socks and wear slippers if I am going outside to take dog out etc. I love all my lounge clothes. You would never find me in jeans or pants. I am a leggings, capri and overall very casual. I have gone through many robes and slippers. I also love to sleep a lot so maybe that is why I love to stay in my pj's.

I don't wear a robe, but I wear slippers every second I am in the house no matter the season. I have very cold feet year round.

I always get new Dearfoams for Christmas as I burn them out quickly.

This year I got a pair of TOMS slippers that I asked for. I will never go back. So comfy and warm. I'm debating buying 3 more pair just in case they decide to stop making them.

I jump into a robe the first thing out of bed every morning and again after getting out of the bath at night. I wouldn't be caught dead in a pair of slippers though.

I wear my fluffy robe in the morning or after a shower.

I totally forgot about the coziness of doing this until you posted! I did this for years when I was young.

We got my mom a robe for Christmas because she wears them.
I can wear slippers for an hour or so before my feet get too hot.

Thanks for sharing :crazy2:

No slippers, wear a robe for about 5 minutes a day after I shower. This makes for very little wear & tear on bathrobes. I think my last one lasted for about 25 years.:)

I wear slippers year round. I walk around the house in them. I always wear socks at home, too. Don't wear the slippers when I'm just sitting on the couch though. Wear a robe when I get really cold.

I wear slippers almost all day long around the house. I'm a housewife and we don't wear shoes inside so I wear Acorn brand slippers. I sometimes walk around with just socks on, but usually my feet are a little cold so I wear my slippers.

As for a robe, I don't own one...but it would actually be nice if I did have a thin one! I would use it to throw on right after showering to walk to the bedroom to get dressed. We don't have a master bathroom right now so from the bathroom I have to walk through the living room to get to the bedroom. I definitely wouldn't wear one in the evenings to lounge in or in the morning, either.

I have a thick terry robe that I only wear to and from the shower in winter; or over my lounge wear if it's really cold. But I prefer to just wear lounge wear and socks. In summer I have a summer weight yukata that I love to wear in the mornings or before bed at night. I wear slip on sandals on my feet in summer, since I'm always going back and forth from the deck.

You don't get dressed in the bathroom after your shower???

To those who are adamant they don't wear a dressing gown/bath robe, may I ask...why are you so against them, what about them turns you off.

Not who you were asking but definitely don't wear shoes around the house. We take them off by the door as soon as we get home. Not a flooring issue, just a comfort issue.

Oh ok...lol...I hate not wearing shoes in the house, be it sneakers or slippers, I have to have something on my feet...lol

Yes, I wear a robe. My kids don't want to see me parading around in my skimpy sleepwear all morning. I got a brand new Uggs robe for Christmas.

Slippers, no, I don't wear those. I'm mainly barefoot winter and summer. I did buy a pair of "Bob's" slippers last year that have an actual sole on them. I got them for when I'm doing housework and I run in and out of the house and don't want to slip a shoe on. Plus my house is completely hardwoords and my foot doc told me it was bad to be on them barefoot all day with plantar fascitis so I'm supposed to have some sort of support on them.

They're too bulky and awkward and hot for me. I sleep in a t-shirt or sweatshirt and sleep pants. I don't really feel the need of anything to cover it up.

No slippers for me, either. I wear socks or go barefoot. Slippers feel too much like shoes to me and we never wear shoes in the house.
