Bath and Body older fragrances

I love Flowering Herbs. It smells like Epcot to me.

I went today, and they had eight of the classic scents. Unfortunately, it didn't include my favorite, Rice Flower and Shea, which is a light vanilla-like scent with a good textured lotion (I may be crazy, but I think the feel of the lotions are different depending on the scent/botanicals). I asked and was told that some different ones will be coming in as the sale progresses, but that Rice Flower and Shea is not one of the ones scheduled. I hate to buy it on-line b/c of shipping.

Does anyone know whether the selection will be different in other states as I do have a vacation coming up?

Tar Heel...that's my favorite too!!!!!! I do hope that all stores are different...but I do remember last year or maybe the year before (?) I wanted that scent & it wasn't going to be carried at our local store. I try to stock up on that scent when I can. Good luck!

My DH originally chose the fragrance. He had complained about some flowery one I had, so I had him to choose my next one. I really do like it, though.

Good news! I saw the Kitchen Spice hand soap at my store! I thought it was Warm Vanilla Sugar but saw it was Kitchen Spice.

My all-time favorite was Ginger Lime and I have never seen that make a comeback. I do like the Sheer Freesia as well, so maybe I will wander over there today after work.

My mom bought me a BOATLOAD of Fresh Ginger Lime from an outlet mall in the Smokies right after Sept. 11. I adore that fragrance and still wear it, but now the scent makes me flash back immediately to that time.

FWIW, they did bring back Kitchen Herb for the SAS in Jan. '08. It seemed to sell quite well, too. Hopefully they'll decide to bring it back again!

Ooh, yay! My mom would love that, I know. I'll have to stock up!

If I recall correctly, weren't Pink Grapefruit and Tropical Passionfruit retired not that long ago? They weren't out for very long and I liked them.

My current favourites are Warm Vanilla Sugar, Midnight Pomegranate, Dancing Waters, Rainkissed Leaves, & Mango Mandarin. I also like Orange Ginger and Mandarin Lime from the Aromatherapy collection; I loved Bergamot Coriander, but that is discontinued as well. I also absolutely loved the Comfort (vanilla milk) scent from the Breathe collection, but that's also discontinued; I had two small jars of the lotion and I can only find one of them, sadly. I looked for both the Comfort and Bergamot Coriander scents at the last sale, but didn't find any.

Has anyone had any luck finding anything from Savannah Bee or Goldie at their stores? I think they discontinued both brands and they were two of my favourites.

I'm also looking to purchase the new Lemon Pomegranate lipgloss from C.O. Bigelow, and the Lay It On Thick body cream from the True Blue Spa collection (my fiance loves it and his birthday is coming up).

Yeah, they were retiring those when I worked there, which was Dec. 2007-ish. I know PG is listed as a Classic, so at least it is available for sure, but it seems to me that they got some of both in for this past Dec. sale. I could be wrong, though.

I haven't been yet, but if I see any Savannah Bee Mint Julep lip gloss, I'm comin' out with an ARMLOAD of the stuff!! My store was a flagship and had all of the brands that were ever available, so when I head in there, I'll let you all know what they've gotten in. If you have access to a flagship, that's definitely where I'd head during the SAS. You can check to see if stores in your area are flagships by using the store locator thingie on the website; it should indicate all flagships there.

I wish they would bring back fresh water cucumber. It was retired almost as soon as it came out. Was I the only one that liked it?

I liked it Melissa. It was a clean refreshing cucumber smell. Of course, I like almost all of their scents and have more lotion than I could go through in a lifetime, so I don't watch for stuff to come back, trying to stay content with what I have!

OK, for anybody who may be interested, I finally made it into my old store yesterday and have a brief rundown on what all they had...

• I don't know if my flagship is getting rid of a bunch of their "premium" brands, but they had a TON of them on sale. Lippman, Moulton Brown, Davies Gate, freeze, Jaqua...a bunch of that stuff was on a couple of 75% off tables. I think the store had 4 or 5 75%-off tables, so I was PSYCHED. I usually try not to buy anything that's not at least 75% off unless it's a Classic or is something seasonal that I have to have and I know won't be around long enough to go 75% off. They also had some tables of old-packaging stuff that was 75% off, but I had more than enough of everything they had.

• Classics: Exotic Coconut (TONS of it, in pretty much every form), Lemongrass Sage lotion and shower gel , Strawberry Lemonade lotion, Sweet Cinnamon Pumpkin lotion & shower gel, Brown Sugar & Fig *shudder*...and that's all I can remember at the moment. Nothing different than past sales, though, unfortunately.

• Foambursts were still $4, as were creamy body washes. Travel-size stuff was 2 for $5.

That's about it for now. They sent out an email this morning with this week's specials in it, but we can no longer access personal email from work , so I have no idea what it said.

Today's E-mail: Anti-bacterial hand soaps are 4 for $10.00; True Blue Spa are buy two, get two free; and Classics for $5 each (lotion, body wash and body spray).

(I'm trying to resist....but I don't think I'll be successful!)

Yeah, so far the True Blue Spa specials are the only thing that's really grabbed my attention. The antibacs should go cheaper before the sale ends (probably to 5 for $10), but I'm not sure when that'll be. Thankfully, I have enough antibac soap to last a family of 12 a lifetime, so I shouldn't need to get any more.

I found my favorite Sun Ripened Rasberry! They didn't have it at the last sale, so I stocked up. I also bought some hand soap and now it's 4 for $10. Oh well, I certainly don't need any more right now.
