Have just realised our stay is over Bastille Day-Have we made a bit of a mistake -I know the park will be busy but will it be horrendous?

Any tips for busy days -we are going to make use of the EMH mornings so my son doesnt have to queue as much first thing and try and do rides during parade times etc and I am going to book a couple of our evening meals during our stay but any other advice?

Hi, thought I'd bump this up a bit cos I've been wondering the same thing. Me and my family will be there there over Bastille Day as well so I've been worrying a bit about the queues. The only "advice" I can give is that my last visit was over Halloween weekend which is meant to be one of the busiest periods and we didn't have any problems at all. So fingers crossed and pixie dust wishes for a similar experience this time :wizard:

Anyone out there with more advice would be really appreciated :)

Thanks for the link. Tis very useful...if a little worrying! lol Hopefully...definately(!)...I'll still manage to have a great time. How couldn't I? It's Disney :woohoo:

Hello!

I have been to DLRP on July 14th last year. The park was busy, but not too buy. I expect the same for this year.

I personnaly do not come back on this day this year, because the special fireworks were total crap. I do not know if this was because of technical problems, but I really was disappointed. I wait for the reviews of this year to decide if I will give it a try the next year :-)

Greetings, Wuzefelix

Thanks for that Wuzefelix, good to hear something positive :) Well, the fireworks thing isn't great but as Wishes is starting the day after I don't really mind what the Bastille Day ones are like. Just glad I'm not gonna get trampled in the parks!

Any tips for busy days

How about eating your main meal at lunch time. We did this twice at Easter when the parks were heaving and found it gave us a break from the crowds and then we didnt have to fight to get a table in the evening. We could just grab a sandwich and sit outside somewhere and watch the world go by.

A great idea ~ we've done this before and found it very refreshing, especially if it's a very hot day.
