Bass Ale or Harp at Rose and Crown?

I know that one of them had gone off the tap sometime last year, but does anyone know if they are both there again.

Harp wasn't there in Dec. Had to make do with Guinness. hehehe

Pretty sure both were there last week. Raglan Road also had Harp.

FYI -
when requested (which is often)
. . . the bartender mixes 1/2-Bass and 1/1 Ginger Ale.
. . . Bass Ale is usually pretty bitter
. . . the Ginger Ale cuts the bitterness
. . . this is known as a Black and Tan

. . . if you mix Harp instead of Bass, it is called and Shandy

Black and Tan is a mixture of a pale ale/lager with a stout/poter.

Who says Bass Ale is bitter?

My husband will be happy to see them both back again. A golden made from bass and stella was not nearly as good as one from bass and harp.

Harp is back! They had some trouble importing Tennent's Lager so they took it off the taps.

Currently the Rose and Crown Pub has Guinness, Strongbow Cider, Stella Artois, Harp, Bass, Boddingtons, and Hoegaarden on tap. They also have Woodpecker Cider and Caliber(non-alcoholic) in bottles.

Is Harps also at the outside stand? Sometimes it's hard to pass that stand.

I do not bother with ales or lagers anymore. For me, It's Guinness if they've got it!

"Shandy" is beer and lemonade, or beer and ginger ale (depending upon where you are).
