So after @jdb in AZ posted the thread about "baseball questions" it got me to thinking. What are some of the cool traditions your home team does for the fans? This can include MLB and minor league teams.

Some examples are Mr Freeze in Atlanta, the sausage races in Milwaukee. For me it when the Red Sox play the song, Sweet Caroline.

I liked it when the Nationals did Baby Shark the year they won the World Series(2019) I was a fan because Max Scherzer was pitching for them.

Not sure if done in other parks, but, at Wrigley, tossing home run balls from the other team back on to the field.

At all home Orioles games, for as long as I can remember, when they sing the national anthem and the “O” comes up (O say does that star spangled..) everyone in the stadium stands up and yells “O” all together. They call the Orioles the Os around here.

For the O’s I also like Thank God I’m a Country Boy as part of our 7th inning stretch. New for this past season a few of the players came up with water themed things for certain types of hits such as a motion of turn the faucet on for a single and the sprinkler for a double or triple and when the base runner made that sign the players in the dugout spit water out to look like a fountain and for a home run the Homer Hose. They wanted fans involved which created the splash zone where if you sat in a certain section any time a player hit a double, triple, or home run
Mr. Splash would splash that section. I am also a Nats fan and like the Predidents Race.

Nothing like it.

Splash hits.

Chillin in McCovey Cove.

A two bouncer into the cove. Fan jumps right in. It's too big of a drop to just climb back out of. Swim to the kayak launch.

Best time to get a ball in the cove is batting practice. Fewer people. More chance of one being hit.

McCovey Cove is iconic. Always fun to watch ppl going after the home run balls.

I had no clue about the Journey song. Good stuff
