Bartenders on the Fantasy-name some of your favorites!

We met some great ones on our cruise last August & since we’re going again in April, I’m wondering if they are still there. For those that have been on the Fantasy lately, did you meet Marco from Mexico, & Gaby from Mexico & Don from India, the F& B manager?
Who are your favorite bartenders? Even if they were on other ships.

Marco is awesome. Had a number of cocktails in the Skyline Lounge from him. John at Meridian was great too....he also did a tasting we attended.

Ironically, Marco and John were switching locations for the following week.

Was on the Fantasy 1/20/24 thru 1/27/24.
Gaby is still there.
John from Meridian bar contracted ended 1/27/24. I enjoyed his gin tasting.
Look for Nina of Thailand, Chika from Japan, Kareem from Trinidad and Tobago, Welvin from Dominican Republic, Howard from Jamaica, and Anton from the Philippines.

Please note that the bartenders are sometimes assigned to restaurants and are not available to the general public. Example is Welvin was the bartender in the Royal Court and Gaby was moved from Bon Voyage to Palo for the next cruise.

It's so hard as they move around between bars and ships sometimes but our all time favorites who we have sailed with multiple times are Benita, Conrad, Gilbert, Damien (who has sadly left DCL), and Jarvis (not sure if he's still there).

LOL- my husband made friends with Marco and they have kept in touch. He came to dinner late most nights because they were still chatting at O'Gills!

Benita from the Wish? I really enjoyed her Old Fashioneds. About the only thing that wasn’t disappointing on the Wish.

Yes! Over the years we have met her on the Dream and Fantasy multiple times, but most recently on the Wish last Feb. Unfortunately she was in the Cove Cafe that cruise, where we really don't spend time but we went in to visit her a couple of times.

And I agree the bartenders, and really the whole crew were 1 of the few highlights of the Wish for us. Them and the food.

On our last Fantasy Cruise, the 8 night Bermuda in April of 2023, we absolutely loved Gusti from Indonesia who was working Bon Boyage for that cruise. Made a great Bloody Mary and some excellent gin cocktails where we just asked for his take on something fizzy/refreshing.

I think he mentioned owning a cocktail bar in Bali as well. We hope he is on board for the 10nt Southern Caribbean in July!
