Barry Manilow fans

I just bought Barry's new Christmas album (yeah, a nice Jewish girl listens to Christmas songs -- but then, the singer's a nice Jewish boy)

mini review: none of the songs are religious in nature -- things like "Winter Wonderland" and "Santa Claus is Coming to Town." except for the last song on the album -- which is pure Barry -- it sounds like he's doing a Johnny Mathis imitation.

but then, I liked Mathis' Christmas albums.

Love this CD! My favorite song on it is "Baby it's Cold Outside" - a duet with KT Oslen.

Just a note:

Barry has 2 Christmas CD's. The first one, with "Baby It's Cold Outside" is called "Because It's Christmas". The new one is called "A Gift of Love". I like the first one better, but some of the songs on the new one are pretty.

OK, so what is it about the Johnny Mathis Christmas album??? It's one of my favorites

My favorite is the Streisand Christmas album (no comments -I'm secure in my manhood) - also by a nice Jewish girl!
