Great update. Drag about missing Tarzan, but Jane is cool- and Bullseye too. Someday I really want to go to MNSSHP just because they always seem to have a few characters you don't see out very often.

Bullseye looks pretty cool as well - never seen him before.
We heard he was going to be in the Diamond Horseshoe but we never made it over there.
Unfortunately, time is limited when you have the little ones in tow...

I'm surprised you passed on the Photopass - especially since there is a 40% off coupon on the Halloween Photopass card...

Anyway - glad you guys liked Tony's. I have always enjoyed Tony's, but my June meal was not all that great. It probably is really a nice break for lunch, especially when a parade is in full swing. How lucky to get a window seat.

So - I'll check back later. Yeah.....for bounceback for next year. I think the first week of September will be an excellent time to visit. I think that week probably has the lowest crowds of the entire year. I'm so glad that Caitlin will get to go with you. That's wonderful.

I hope that first week in September is a good time too visit and not too hot or rainy. Now the only problem is the wait

One of the cool things about the parties is that they all have "special" characters and it really adds to the fun! At the Pirate and Princess Party the highlight for Caitlin was the meet and greet with Jack Sparrow. He was awesome! At the Christmas Party last year we met Scrooge McDuck which was cool too!

Yeah, I was hoping for Captain Jack at the Halloween party but, alas, it was not to be.
It would've been cool since we dressed as pirates.
Not sure why they don't do that one - especially since Pirate & Princess is long gone...

Bullseye was fun and it was nice and cool inside on a very hot night! There is so much to do at the party that with all the lines you cannot possibly do everything but that just gives you a reason to go back again! Actually that was sort of my mantra for the night..we'll be back next year and see it then.

Outside of the party night we saw very few Photopass Photographers. I think our card had maybe 20 pics total? It was low. We did order the pic in front of the HM with the ghost superimposed though as a party keepsake(with the discount ). For our package 5x7 we got a pic with Sorceror Mickey.

We did the Pirate and Princess Party the first year they had it and it was so much fun. The special characters there were fantastic- Captain Jack, Sebastian and Flounder, Prince Eric, John Smith, etc. Too bad they're not doing it anymore. I've been trying to talk my brother into trying the Halloween Party every year since then, but thus far he hasn't said yes. The Christmas Party looks fun too, but I think I've already met Scrooge and most of the special characters they usually have except Bullseye (I think I've read that he's there too) and Belle in her Christmas gown.

Almost all our pp pics were from the party. I think the only other place we saw PP photogs this time was in the Animation Bldg at DHS. There weren't even any at the entrance of Epcot this time

Yeah, we noticed they were slacking at EPCOT lately.
We can't seem to get any in the morning there anymore.
We always end up with a night shot of Spaceship Earth before we go.
In the afternoons we can usually get one at Fountain of Nations plaza.
And then at all the chars in EPCOT, DHS, and MK of course.
We even got some new magic shots this time around.
I can't wait to get them all back and make the new TR.
We totalled close to 400 for the 5 days (but that included 135 from a photo session we signed up for).
So I'm still swamped editing them all...

Love your report and this picture cracked me up. My Tr involves stories of Pluto's "dirty dancing" side and now every time I see him that is all I can think about!

I am a Dawn as well (Marie middle name/I am taking a poll and so far 95% of people had boring parents and used Marie...maybe it was a law and those without Marie, had rebellious hippies for parents...) so I had to stop by and glad I spent my morning with you!

Oh and when you were going toe to toe with the line snatcher, when he asked, "What are you a Disney Expert?" I would have said, "No - he is!" And put your hubby in front of you like in Steel Magnolias at the funeral when they offered Wheezer to be smacked for the good of all man kind. Your husband looks like he is a giving person. He would have taken one for the team!

Piper is a huge Dalmations fan, she would have loved that. I'd already been considering hitting Tony's for lunch the day we're there, just because of the Dalmation theming ...

Hi Dawn! I always think it's funny when I meet other Dawn's because I did not know any when I was growing up and people acted like it was such an unusual name My parents were definitely NOT rebellious Hippies but my middle name is Michele. However, my mom's best friend used to always call me Dawn Marie and she'd tell my mom that should have been my middle name I'm glad you stopped by!!


Dale was by my side during the whole line jump thing but he would have been shocked had I thrown him into it

Thanks Piper's mom. The "commercial" spot is in the very front of the park in the Exposition Hall and not in Toon Town so it should be there when you go.

MaryEllen I've been wondering the same thing! Caitlin has the itch bad and I think it's contagious It will probably depend on how Dale's store does over the holiday season and what kind of bonus he gets after the first of the year. It has been a real treat going twice a year for the last 2 years and I'd love to repeat that next year but if it doesn't happen I will still be thrilled that we get to go once!
