Where is the best place to buy this? How pricey is it? I normally wear Clinique so is Bare Minerals comparable to Clinique in price?

TIA

There are many reputable sellers on Ebay. Check the feedback. That's probably the best in price you can get. Be sure to read the auction that it is Bare Minerals as people do try to trick you with similar names.

If you're not comfortable with that.. then try Sephora.com. There are always great coupon codes for extras.. and $$ off. Their price will be the same as most other places.

I don't know how much Clinique is so I can't compare, just check the prices at Sephora and search Bare Escentuals. Be sure to purchase Mineral Veil with the foundation. It gives you that airbrushed look. Also.. be sure to go really easy on the foundation. It's powder and it will look cakey if you put on too much. A little really goes a long way.

I got my first set from QVC - it was on easy-pay, so that helped break up the cost. Then, I just rounded it out with a few Ebay purchases from reputable sellers.

I swear by bisque for cover-up, mineral veil and warmth. With the foundation, they make your skin appear flawless!

If you want to try it out first before you purchase it, go to an Ulta store or Sephora.

I don't know where in Indiana you live so I don't know if these are near you or not.

Luckily for me I have a Bare Escentuals store which is the brand who makes the Bare Minerals. I have found cheaper places to buy the makeup than from this store but the reps know what they are doing and will help you apply properly.

I would start out with a kit and you can get this for 60 dollars at both Sephora and Ulta or you can order it online.

This make up lasts me forever and I love it. Won't wear anything else and have been a customer since 2003.

Very easy to apply once you get the hang of it and figure out the little tricks!

Yes, bisque is great for cover-up. It originally started out as eye shadow but now it's known for coverup. I personally need summer bisque. my trick is that I add some water for some more coverage and I use one of those maximum coverage brushes.

If I were to order Bare Minerals what are the required things that I should get? Or what are the must haves?

TIA

Love Bare Minerals! When I started out, Sephora had a GREAT kit, maybe called Basics? Or "starter kit" (imagine that!). It came with two shades of foundation, mineral veil, warmth, lotion, a few brushes? Really, everything you need to start out. I think it was about $60, and if you belong to ebates you get a percentage back.

For starting out, I would get foundation, mineral veil, and one of their face colors. I don't like warmth for myself, but I am pasty pale and glow in the dark. Soft focus Glee works very well for me.

One more BM question how well does it work with tans? I am tanning so I don't fry on our trip (in 3 weeks :) ) Will it still work well?

It should be ok as long as you get a shade that matches well. in the kit you get two shades. There are a lot of shades to choose from.

Also, a good thing about the foundation is that it has spf in it.

I love Bare Minerals.:thumbsup2 .. You want to get the "starter kit" because it comes w/the brushes, it comes w/2 colors of "foundation" so you can use one when you have a tan & one when you don't. I can say that me skin is clearer now because of this product:goodvibes, you can also google bare minerals & you can find the companies website, QVC also sells it & has good buys sometimes. Good luck, ps I used to use Clinique blush --I no longer use it
