Barclay's new little brother!! Updated--Pic on page 3

How about Bailey:confused3 ...(as in George Bailey..It's a Wonderful Life..my favorite movie)...I think Barclay and Bailey sound cute together. :lovestruc

Well, if you're not going with Chum, I would pick Copper... Good Disney name (Fox & Hound) and descriptive, and it is distinct from Barclay so he'll know it's his. My $0.02.

Chum is only if she is going to use the dog for trolling bait, and that is just wrong on many different fronts.

My dog

How about Killian? Killian's Red one of my favorites. I have some in the fridge for tomorrow night. I know that's not his actual picture but oh so cute. Congratulations.
Loretta

I like Killian, that is really cool. I should have named my dog damnit, like stop peeing on the floor damnit, stop eating the cat damnit...... LOL

How exciting Rhonda!!!! Since you have Barclay...as in Bark-lay, what about Wolfgang? You know....Woof-gang! You could call him Wolfie for short!

Before we picked up my oldest "son", we spent days and days trying to think of names for him. He's a Burmese cat, so of course we researched exotic names and couldn't come up with anything we liked. We picked him up the day after Christmas & I jokingly said, let's call him Nicholas! My DH poo-pooed that idea. He wanted something like Rajah or Simba - but after we got him home, those just didn't fit. He just looked like a "Nicky" - so - Nicholas stuck and he's been my little Nicky for 14 years!!

We picked up a little sister for him about a year later & was going to name her Natasha, but that didn't fit either once we got her home. She's been Cassie since about the 2nd day after arriving at our home - 12 years ago!

Sometimes you just have to wait until you see what their personality is like before you give them a name!

Congratulations, Rhonda, on your new little baby!

Of course....you could name him "Cherry Wheat" and call him "CW" or "Wheaties"!:lmao:

Landon wanted to name our beagle all kinds of crazy things ( of course when her Dad bought her a dog later on and it was all her decision, she didn't like those names ) Lisa and I liked Harlet but,we decided to give a little time to name herself and we would change. Turns out she's extremly loud, pretty to look at and she's either impossible to catch or impossible to start.... Sounds like a Harley to me...:lmao:

I think it takes a few days, and you need to get to know a pup a little bit, and they sort of name themselves. Usually something about their personalities comes through and you have a better idea of what you want to name them.

It took us a few days to figure out a name for our second cat. Eventually settled on "Dusty" because she spent the first week hiding behind furniture. Says a lot about how often we dust behind the furniture I guess :lmao: .

Great looking puppy - here's to many happy days!

Well, we settled on "Reggie"! We picked him up last night, and he's doing great! He slept all night (next to me on the bed, of course). Every time I bring him out (about once/hour) he does his thing! No accidents in the house yet. I'm trained well! LOL

I'll try to take some pictures this weekend, if I can get him to sit still long enough!
