Barcelona to Rome - Port or Starboard??

I know we won't be spending a lot of time in the room, but I was wondering if Port or Starboard is best for viewing the coast line when sailing the Med. We don't care so much about which side the ship docks on, but figured it would be better to have views of the coastline when sailing. From looking at the map, I assume this would be the port side.

Anyone have any insight? Thoughts or advice?

We rarely saw views of the coast line on our Med trip. The only time we saw coast was when we were supposed to tender at Villefranche but couldn't because of the winds and waves.

I would think if you are traveling eastbound that most of the views of land would be on the port side. That said, I think most of the ship movement will be at night so not sure how much there is to see.
