barcelona embarkation - haven't received our luggage tags yet

I mentioned earlier that our booklets came yesterday for our B2B cruises starting in Barcelona on Sept. 10. We booked our airline tickets through the mouse, which includes ground transportation. In checking the booklets I found that this part of our trip was messed up. They had us being picked up at the airport on the 10th after we had been in their recommended hotel in Barcelona for a day and a half. No mention of getting us from the hotel to the port. Also, our second booklet had us leaving the ship and going to "New York, NY," not JFK. Not wanting to be stranded in Central Park, I called DCL. At one point, in talking to them, they even said their records showed that we did not book our flights with them, that we did it ourselves. Yikes! After much discussion (and several mice involved), we got it all squared away, including an email confirmation of all the transfers. In short, do check all the details in your booklet(s). You might not need them when you leave, but the info they include might cause serious issues later.

by the way, our TA said that some of their overseas clients receive their docs a bit later than normal, so we thought they might still arrive.....and they did, 2 weeks out, rather than 4 weeks...
in any case, as many of you have said, there's not much in there but the luggage tags..

but still it's fun to get mail from the mouse!!

Ours arrived later than that - however it was via the travel agency that's organised the rest of the trip, so they had them for a while!!!

ours came straight from the mouse...don't know why the mail took so long...
i just got mail from the states the other day that came 2 days after it was mailed...so i don't know why the mouse took longer...
but whatever, it got here!!

Happy that everyone got their documents in time. As I mentioned earlier, it may not be critical to take them with you, but the info inside must be double checked. It will make for a smooth cruise with the mouse later.

I am on the TA cruise September 17th and got my docs yesterday via regular mail. I booked my air and transfers with them so I had better check they are correct. Going on the Fantasy this Saturday so was going to check when we got back but better take a look now.

ok so turns out it wasn't the cruise documents...
it was an envelope from the mouse, but just the planning guide....telling us that we could go online to book stuff..

darn...

still no docs...

finally....they truly came yesterday.... and now i understand the delay..
apparently they send the documents in bulk to the UK and then distribute from there via royal mail, which delays the process...
in any case, it's here!!
