Barbie & Safari Ken for Sale!

In a previous post (sorry, can't find it anywhere now), someone mentioned the fact that they wish they could purchase Barbie and Safari Ken from TS3. I saw this in the Target paper yesterday and thought I'd share...

Partner always gets the plush toys from Kohl's for the kids area at his community college library.

I'm going to avoid saying anything about Safari Ken... Although a slip-up is inevitable...

It amuses me to see these on sale as I'm just young enough to remember (and have owned) these dolls back in the late 80s when Safari Ken was "Animal Lovin'" Ken. Disney's choice of this particular Ken doll has inspired a lot of ribbing within my family, as this particular Ken doll was originally purchased for my brother since I refused to share my dolls and my parents thought that if Paul had his own doll I'd allow him to play. (this theory proved false, as I later appropriated the doll into my own horde) Paul hasn't been too keen to have a reminder of his childhood doll-envy pop up reintroduce itself into pop culture.
