Does anyone have either the Barbie Dream Townhouse or the Glam Vacation House? I would love some feedback on both before I decide which to get dd. And any advice on where to get it for the lowest price? So far, I think Amazon has the best price for the Townhouse. Any info would be appreciated! TIA!

Honestly I would buy a doll house made by imaginarium instead. I've bought a barbie dream house in the past and it did not hold up. It was poorly made and not at all worth the money. I've bought several imaginarium doll houses and they are well worth the extra money. They come with furniture and will hold up for years to come. Perfect for Barbies!

I have no opinion about any Barbie housing development! I was however just in Costco this afternoon, and they had the Barbie Dream Townhouse for $129.99, since I have not even walked into a Barbie toy aisle in 10 years I have no idea if this is a good price. This is however the price at my local Costco.

If anyone cares, they also had a Barbie Jet, which came in another huge box. I did not note the price of that toy.

We have the Barbie Glam Vacation House--I'm assuming you mean the one that is $34.99, right? My dd9 got it last Christmas from Santa and has been playing with it today with dd7. I really like that it's two stories, though small stories, and that it folds up. My dd did say that when her Barbies are wearing heels that it's hard to fit them in the small kitchenette area standing up. I'm not sure if that problem is rectified with the Townhouse or not however.

For our family, the Glam House, along with a car and my dd7's Glamour Camper, is enough. I've thought over the last several years of getting them the Barbie Townhome, and I have no doubt they'd love it, but they don't have room in their bedrooms for it to be out all the time and I didn't want it in our family room either. Good luck with your decision.
