Barbie Doll'd up nail printer?? Does it work?

DD wants this and it is out of my budget - but just wondering if I should even bother looking into it....does anyones dd have this, does it work? Is it worth the money?

It is way too expensive IMO.. that is probably why I do not know anyone who owns one

My daughter asked for this last year and again this year. I just didnt think it was worth it, she hardly ever paints her nails. I don't know anyone that has one. I did see a cute option in the gift guide Avon book though. Of course its not as fancy as the Barbie nail printer by any means. Its looks cute though and is only about $15.00, its the Nail Glitter and Gem kit by Conair.

along a similar line, my DD (12 at the time) just HAD to have a nail polish maker for Christmas last year, and of course, the in-laws bought it for her. she's used it maybe twice, and all it does is make a mess. the nail polish doesn't even work-it's more like colored water. if this barbie thing is in any way similar, i wouldn't waste the money.

We got it last year for DD when TRU had a sale. Tried it out and it was awful. We figured it was damaged so we exchanged it for another one. Tried it and same mess so that one went back too. Don't waste your money
