My brother in law is going on our next trip. He mentioned to my husband that he wanted to hit the bar scene at wdw. He is a young guy who enjoys the club scene. I've always had my kids in tow so adult entertainment has taken a back seat and im really not familiar with this scene. Any suggestions for places he could go?

The bar scene is pretty weak at Disney to be honest, but there are some good spots. My personal fave is Raglan Road, the live music is right up my alley and the beers are exactly as I like them.

Raglan Road is definitely a great BAR bar. But if he's more into the club scene, he's really not going to find much of that at Disney. They got rid of most of that when they did away with PI.

If you're looking in the general orlando area, though? Downtown Orlando and that other theme park i'm not sure if we're supposed to mention have some great clubs. There's also a couple of fun places on IDrive.

Bars ? tons, every resort has one

Sports bar = ESPN Club, Boardwalk

Fish tank bar = T-Rex , DTD

Live music bar = House of Blues & Raglan Road, DTD

Sushi bar = California Grill Contemporary Resort, Kona Island Sushi Bar Polynesian Resort

Might regret doing shots bar = La Cava del Tequila, EPCOT :rotfl2:

Smallest bar = Old Key West resort bar The Gurgling Suitcase :thumbsup2

Club scene ? not so much

Club scene = first thing that comes to mind is Atlantic Dance Hall at the Boardwalk

Club scene:
Atlantic Dance - on the Boardwalk
Jelly Rolls - dueling pianos - on the Boardwalk
Universal's City Walk - lots of different clubs depending on what kind of music he is into
Downtown Orlando - lots of bars

ESPN, Jelly Rolls, and Atlantic Dance Hall stay open the latest on property which is 12-2 a.m. Which is why when we go without kids we stay at BWV. ;)

That being said...our favorite stops (besides the above) are:
Epcot: Rose & Crown (England), La Cava (Mexico)
DHS: Tune-In Lounge (50's PT Cafe)
Animal Kingdom: Dawa Bar
MK: uhh...BYOB
DTD: T-Rex

Plenty to keep anyone entertained.
May sound bad but start early, pace yourself, and no need to stay up late!

Atlantic Dance is often a ghost town, unfortunately. One to add to this is Rix over at Coronado. Also can be quiet, but if the right convention is there, can be pretty lively.
