We will be meeting up at WDW with several families from across the country and want a chance to eat and visit together. We would like to be able to move around and talk to each other, rather than being stuck at a one or two big tables. Does anyone have any suggestions? It'll be the one time we're all together.

Thanks.
Laurie

For a banquet room you would have to go through sales/catering and owrk with a fixed menu or buffet. And it would have to be in a Resort. But if you wanted it in a reserved area in one of the parks this can be done, but it will cost extra.

A better bet would be to make the reservations for opening time of a restaurant and try to get them linked. Then, at least 1/2 hour before opening one person go over and talk to the Manager. Normally you will be able to be seated together. I belong to a group that has had about 40 people for a holiday party each year, and we have done Boma, Cape May and Chef Mickey. I know that I know that 'Ohana, Spoodles and Whispering Canyon also have "semi-private" areas.
