Banned from Mansion!

I played several games this morning with no trouble - then, all of the sudden I got this four times in a row! I think I have been banned from the mansion! Any suggestions on what this is? And what do I do about it?

I've gotten this many times, I would really appreciate someone explaining what it means. I noticed it says 'VMK Pal' at the top, so maybe it is only a problem in VMK Pal.

Looks like it may be a VMK Pal error, not a VMK error.

If it is a VMK error, however, they might be trying to do something that's severely screwing the game up, since almost no one could even log on earlier today.

Low addresses like that are usually in an executable file rather than data. It looks like a program is totally confused and trying to overwrite the code with data. It's definitely a very bad thing and not very likely caused by anything you are doing.

clear cache and restart your PC, it is an Internet Explorer error, not nessecarily a Pal error - basically, your PC ran out of memory

You might try running a memory diagnostic. I got that error on one of the machines I use and it had some bad memory. Replacing the memory fixed the problem.

ok, but I tried restarting and had nothing else open at all - still had the error so, how could I have run out of memory?

did you clear your Internet cache? (aka Temporary Internet Files)

You may also want to check and make sure your RAM is seated properly, if a chip became loose, it could cause issues like this

Cache had been cleared yesterday, so there was not much there, but I did it again.

Ok, your computer ran out of memory.

The trick is figuring out why. There are a gazillion possible reasons. Normally I'd start by running the task manager to see which processes are using memory and how much they are using when you get this error. However, I can see your eyes are glazing over so I'm not sure what to advise other than to try running VMK without pal just to reduce the resources you are using.

Whenever I get this problem, I will close out the entire window. then clean out my temp files.
Then I will usually go over to firefox.

Not that I'm much help in solving the problem ...

But, I do get that error message all the time, after numerous games of Mansion. And only when I am running vmk, through VMK Pal. I also have nothing else open.

What usually works for me, is just logging out of VMK Pal. Clearing Temp Files and logging into VMK Pal again. I do seem to crash less when using Pal though, instead of just Internet Explorer or Firefox.

So that error you have gotten, I've just learned to live with. No idea why it happens though.

I have gotten this error but not while i have been logged in, on vmk. It is very strange. I have just ignored it and it hasn't popped up in the middle of a game, like what has happened in your situation.

Wow reading this thread is like spanish to me, its cool to look at but doesnt mean a thing. BUT, I noticed alot of issues with vmk pal lately. I had my 2 alternate players saved there, and unfortunately did not write them down anywhere else and yea you guessed it.....for some reason the entire pal sign on blanked out on me, I lost them all. So take it from me ppls, record any players you have on pal now.
