Is this the right thing to do?
For our Nov 08 trip we will be using all our 08 points at SSR. We would like to try for BW at 7 months for a portion of the trip, but will have to borrow 09 points to do it. When that is confirmed, we will cancel that portion at SSR and bank those points into '09. We have a June UY, so am I correct to say that we can bank the original '08 points used for SSR into '09 as long as it's done before Feb '09 (4 months prior to our UY)?? Sorry, I over-analyze a lot and get confused.

Yes you can bank any unused June 08 points into June 09 at any time through January 09. They usually won't bank them until the use year starts so you can call to bank June 08 points at any time from June 1, 08 to January 31, 09. Note, when you do try the switch at 7 months out, you should see if you can just cancel the relevant portion of the trip at SSR and immediately apply those 08 SSR points to a BWV reservation.
