My use year is August

We are traveling in June 2010.

I make reservation in June 2009.


I bank 2008 points into 2009

use 2009 points

borrow 2010 points

My ?

I can make our reservations in June 2009 for 2010 even if my 2009 points aren't until August? Do I borrow my 2010 points at the time I make reservations?

When you make the reservation in June, 2009 you will have ability to use current points from your August, 2009 Use Year, points banked from your August, 2008 Use Year and you may borrow points from your 2010 Use Year. This may all be done when you call MS next June to make the reservation.

The ONLY time you can borrow points is when you are making a resevation.

You'll make your reservation in July, for a June reservation. 11 months, not 12.

A stay in June 2010 will be in your Aug 2009 use year. You'll borrow any points needed when you make the reservation in July 2009. Just remember that once borrowed, if your plans change, those borrowed points will remain in your 2009 use year, and can not be banked back into 2010.

You can make a reservation in July 2009 for June 2010 at your Home Resort
(11 months from your check in date).

You need to have your August 2008 Use Year points banked by MARCH 31, 2009 into your August 2009 Use Year or you will lose them.

So you must call by March 31, 2009 if you want to bank those points for future use.

Your banking deadline with an August Use Year will always be the following March 31.
