So how did we wrap up this amazing vacation? With double doses of Epcot!

After my wonderful AI Experience, we were all filled with adrenaline and ready to max out our remaining time. The skies had cleared and it turned out to be a beautiful day.

Back at Epcot, we took in some of the Flower and Garden sights...

...including this quaint little garden of fairy topiaries. It was adorable:

First, we walked through the butterfly tent

where we got up close and personal with some of these beauties

We emerged in Pixie Hollow, complete with inhabitants:

and Silvermist

We spent time doing our favorites

And eventually made our way to scope out a spot for Illuminations

Tyson enjoyed playing with a set of Presidential Vehicles that we got at the American Pavillion, including a helicopter. This was great, because it kept the kids busy so we could get a spot earlier than we normally do with kids!

We soaked up every note and firework of Illuminations. We weren't TOO sad, because we knew we'd be back in July!

There were EMH tonight at Epcot, so we ventured over to the Character Spot for some time with our bestest Disney friends. I'm going to post them in a new post, so I don't run out of pictures!!

Tyson was so good about letting his little sis run up and get the hugs first!

I just love how she ran up to each and every one of them!! She was so good about waiting until it was her turn, too!

After we had had our fill of characters (for tonight, anyway) we headed home for one more heavenly night at the Beach Club.


The next morning, we took it easy and took our time getting ready to head out for our last morning. The kids enjoyed lounging on their bed and watching the Disney cartoons featured on the resort TV:

We decided to spend our last few hours at Epcot again (see, I told you we did a double dose!)

Shae and I enjoyed exploring Mouse Gears. Hey, I need to start teaching her the finer points of Disney shopping, don't I?

She helped me pick out our annual ornament:

Then guess where we ended up?

Back HERE again!

Shae was DYING to give her new friends a hug goodbye. I didn't take pictures AGAIN... sorry! Matt and Ty missed out on this round, anyway.. they were busy getting some last rides on their big-kid favorites!

We all met up for lunch at Electric Umbrella:

Shae and I entertained ourselves at the table, while Matt and Ty got the food!

Oh my! She was so hungry she was eating her thumb! This is when you can tell nap time is near!!

Why would I be smiling on the day we are leaving?! Well, the wonders of being a DVC member meant that we'd be back...soon!

It was time to head out and back to the loaded up car... one more look at the beloved ball:

One last goodbye to Ariel:

Could you just crack up at Tyson!? What a typical BOY!!

Shae wanted a turn by herself.. but that statue was HOT!!

And just in case you missed the punch the first time:

We took a few more breaths of Beach Club Villa air... and made our way to the waiting car.

The ride home was completely uneventful... THANKFULLY!!! I'll post some final thoughts soon!!

Epcot is always a great way to spend the end of a vacation! Something about it for me. I know for most it's the Magic Kingdom--for me it's Epcot....and MouseGear..isn't it one of the best mercandise locations on property?

We are exactly the same way! We start and end at Epcot. And, YES!! MouseGear is AWESOME!!! I like it better than World of Disney because it's usually not as crowded (though I wish they'd give the AP/DVC discount there).
