Banana-stuffed french toast at AKL???

I just saw that banana-stuffed french toast is on the room-service menu at AKL! Have any of you ever had this? Was it good? How does it compare with the Tonga Toast at the Kona Cafe??

I've never had it at AKL. I'd be curious to hear from someone else as it sounds similar to Tonga Toast at the Poly. I wonder if it is the same? I've had Tonga Toast at the Poly and it is out of this world!

I had it in 2001 and YOU MUST TRY IT!!! I had Tonga toast a long time ago, but it was too long ago to really remember, but it doesn't stand out in my mind like the AKL banana stuffed french toast does.

I was thinking about staying at the AKL just for this breakfast item!!!!!! Mouth watering just thinking about it... ahem anyway..

Even though it was so incredibly delicious, you might consider sharing one between two people, as it was really really big and rather expensive. My friend and I could have easily shared one and had a little left over and have saved a lot of money.

DH had it and he thought it was the best! It is large and $$, but hey were on vacation right? Ive never had the tonga toast so i cant compare.

I saw it on the room service menu on our last trip and I am thinking it must be similar/the same as Tonga Toast. Just like AKL has potatoes with Afritude and the Polynesian as Island potatoes and they are the exact same thing.
