I am at my DD house for two weeks. Came with about a dozen banana muffin. They are now gone. DGD ask me to make more, but I don't remember the exact recipe even though I've made it a hundred times.

I've tried looking online and can't find one with the same ingredients. Does anyone have a recipe with these ingredients? Nothing more and nothing less.

Butter (cream it, not melted)
White and brown sugar
eggs
flour
salt
baking soda
cinnamon
bananas

I've seen recipes with yogurt, milk, oil, baking powder, other spices like cloves. Or use melted butter added to mashed bananas.

I'm pretty sure the salt, baking soda and cinnamon use the same amount. But not sure if that's 1 tsp or 1/2 tsp. I've seen recipes using say 1 1/4 tsp of baking soda, and 1/2 salt.

Wish I'd had thought to take a photo of the ingredients
Thank you.

Edited to add.....I decided to do a search on my phone thinking maybe someone in my life, asked for the recipe. And two years ago my 14year DGD asked for it. So I did take a photo and send it.

For those interested...

1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup white sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
2 large eggs
2 cups flour
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 salt
2 cups mashed bananas

Cream butter and sugars, add eggs. Mix flour, salt, cinnamon, baking soda. Alternate adding mashed bananas and flour. Do not over mix. ( side note, about 35 years ago I got a Kitchenaid stand mixer, up to that point, I was mixing by hand. I mixed the life out of this recipe. tough, tough ,tough texture) For my grandkids add 1 1/2 cup chocolate chips. Muffins take about 20 mins. Loaf about 50 min @350.

Glad I found this, now I have a weekend project with the younger grand daughters.

This one? It sounds like the recipe from my old Good Housekeeping cookbook.

Not what you asked, but I just mix 2-3 mashed bananas, applesauce, cinnamon, and 2 eggs into a yellow cake (or, any cake) mix and bake. Quick and easy and cheap banana bread or muffins.

Thank you all for the recommendations. Although they may be great, I hesitate to try them and have my picky grandkids say they taste different and not eat them. I’d rather not make them and just let them wait until I get home. I can make a batch then. Thanks again.
