Bam's Unholy Union - saw wedding photos

My sister's in-laws are friends with Bam Margerra and are going to his wedding this weekend so I decided to watch his reality show on MTV.

Man - that guy is nuts. I can't believe that girl is going to marry him. I guess money talks. He said he didn't want gifts because he already has plenty. This is the first i have ever seen him. Is he always like that?

When DH and I stumbled across this on the TIVO schedule we were giddy with excitement. BIG Bam fans here. We saw both of the ******* movies (two was outrageously fun). And we watched all of the Viva La Bam episodes.

I was a bit surprised to learn that not only did he now have a new girlfriend, but that he was engaged. He broke of up with former girlfriend, Jen, JUST last year...and they were "high school sweethearts" too. I see a major difference between Jen, his ex, and Missy, the fiance. Missy seems to be a normal girl. Perhpas the yin to his yang. jen was just as nutty as he is.

The show has a much larger "train wreck" potential than his other shows, as he has to meet and integrate with Missy's normal family (He french kissed her mom and sister at the engagement party...just for laughs). Missy has a sister with Down Syndrome whom I am praying they will not poke fun at...and I don't think they will.

In an upcoming episode, Bam and friends steal Missy's wedding gown, put it on and run around his 14 acre estate playing paintball. She freaks out when she sees it all ruined. THAT'S funny!

I imagine the actual wedding will be wild and have quite the impressive guest list; Tony HAwk, Johnny Knoxville, Jessica Simpson, Jack Osbourne, Brad Pitt etc. All of these people are friend of Bam.

The wedding is this Saturday and I know some people going. I'll find out the scoop and post it. I bet it is wild. I helped the one girl going pick out a dress. Very fancy. She was stumped on what to get for a gift. He said he just wants Vodka

Well, if I had to guess what one should wear, I'd say dress in black! I'm almost scared to see what Bam and his cronies will be wearing. I'm sure Missy will look lovely.

Oh - I just reread it. Sorry I read it wrong. She's not famous. My sister met her at an Eagles Cheerleader tryout but she is not a cheerleader. Not that that is famous anyhow.

I think Bam is one of the most genuinely funny guys to ever come along. I'm not a big fan of *******--The Movie, but I LOVED Viva La Bam! He's freaking nuts--it's not an act at all.

You really think that with all the rude, insensative, "anything for a laugh" crap this guy and his buddies pull that a sister-in-law to be with downs is going to be off limits? I highly doubt it. Bam's a whack job who gets his jollys mostly at the expense of others.

Actually the people who get the majority of the "Wrath of Bam" are his circle of friends--Ryan, Rake, Rabb, et. al. and his parents and Uncle Vito, who is a disgusting waste of flesh. They all give it right back as well, or keep allowing themselves to be involved in order to receive financial gain.

I have never seen them do anything to a disabled person or be intentionally cruel to someone outside their circle. Yeah, they've busted some stuff up in public places, but it's all been paid for in full, including any loss of business.

I have seen the show, my kids like it. They all seem annoying to me. Not at all funny in any way.

I just talked to my sister and she said this is not an act. He is really like this in real life - even w/ no cameras around. They all think Missy is marrying him for the money and attention.

I bet it doesn't last.

MoniqueU - I agree I think it's not funny either. I'd be sad if my daughter was marrying him. Can you imagine what his kids will turn out like?

a Nursing home?
One of the best lines/jokes where in that.
