BamaBaloo's Journal (Encouragement Greatly Appreciated)

I'm having a really tough week this week. We had a very romantic weekend away from home, and went to a couple of nice restaurants where I didn't do very well. And now, we have been so busy since we got back that I haven't had the chance to do any grocery shopping, so I ate Chinese for lunch yesterday, which is really awful. I haven't been drinking nearly enough water, either. Gotta hope I can make up for it all before Thursday.
 
Ok...so you had a few setbacks...you know what you are doing wrong, now fix it! Go get you a BIG OL' glass of water and keep it with you!!
You are doing great w/ your losses....you are entitled to a setback every now and then, but don't let it overtake you!
Congrats on your romantic weekend....I'm sure you and DW had a great time!
 
Well, weigh-in is tonight and I don't expect good news. This has been a horrible week for me, as far as staying on the program. I have done better the last couple of days, but I don't know if it is enough to make up for this past weekend. I guess we will see tonight.....
 
I stayed exactly the same this week. That's better than I thought, considering my binge last weekend. But I need to be more strict.
 

Congrats on not gaining!! I'm nervous too about weighing on Monday...it's my B-day week, and I haven't had much control! :rolleyes1

Way to GO!!! You should feel very proud of yourself. Keep motivated on the weekend.
 
Another not so good weekend last weekend, but I managed to lose one pound this week!

Well, finally a good update. After two weeks of gaining, I had managed to erase two pounds of my weight loss. But I got back on track, and this week I had lost 3 pounds. So I'm one more pound closer to my goal!
 
Half a pound this week......gotta get back on track. Gonna try for a big loss this week!
 
I can totally relate about getting back on track....the last 2 weeks have been a nightmare for me food and exercise wise. I'm already planning on running tonight and everyday this weekend....it's the only way i'm not going to show a gain.
I'm with you on the big loss this next week!!
keep up the good work Bama....you can do this!!

Had a great 2 pound loss this week. Slowly but surely getting into better eating patterns....
