Balloons, photos, pins in room upon arrival?

Okay, so we've only got 6 weeks to go until our trip, so the questions are going to be coming fast and furious

We are staying at the DLH, concierge level. Will be there from October 5-8.

I remember reading awhile back that someone called ahead and asked for balloons to be placed in their room so that the balloons were there when they checked in/got up to their room. Someone else had mentioned that they asked for autographed pictures of their favorite characters to be waiting for them in their room, along with "first visit" pins.

Has anyone out there done this? How much does it cost? Do I call the concierge or someone else?

They won't be waiting in your room if you first go straight up but... When you check in they will give you your buttons. Go straight to the park not your room. That gives them time to put the stuff in there. We always gave the guest service director a nightgown for DD. They would have it laid out on her bed with balloons and a photo. You may also want to double check that it is lined up when you check in just to make sure it gets done

Ballarin, I love the pajamas idea! That would be cute. I think we'll do that on our trip this winter. The kids always need pajamas anyway, and we can get some from the Disney store before we go.
