Balloon Boy family moving to FL...UGH

Just saw this...

FORT COLLINS, Colo. (AP) — The family at the center of the balloon boy hoax has moved out of the house where the fateful trip began, leaving Colorado for Florida.

Richard and Mayumi Heene and their three boys have moved to Bradenton, Fla., where Richard Heene will continue working in construction.

Richard Heene pleaded guilty to a felony count of attempting to influence a public servant and served a 30 day jail term. Mayumi Heene pleaded guilty to filing a false report and served 20 a day jail term.

Larimer County and state officials say the Heenes' probation has been transferred to Florida. The terms of their probation include making regular monthly payments toward $48,000 in restitution.

I don't understand why this is news, or why anyone cares??

There are strange people everywhere. Just because these people happened to do something that was on the news, doesn't mean that anybody needs to pay any attention to what they do for the next 30 years. I can see it now, 30 years from now we'll have some TV retrospective: "Balloon Boy: The parenting years" and we can see what he is doing with his own children. Ugh. Who cares?

I don't consider it news either, but then again, I also don't consider it news when Kate whatshername gets a new hair style or many, many other things that seem to be "news worthy" to others.

I hope no-one gives them anymore attention. I still remember being glued to the set when they "opened" the basket to find it empty and thinking the child had fallen to his death. These people are beyond description.

I am with ColoradoMom on this. Watching that all unfold on tv..... they don't deserve any more of our attention. I didn't see anything in the Lovelandpaper about this either.
