Baking Cookies at The Land

Hi everyone! My parents and daughter left this morning for WDW. We join them on Saturday! I know it's getting close now - yippee!!!

I'm looking for information about baking cookies at The Land. We are WDW veterens so we try to do "different" things on our trips now. We have never baked cookies before! Is there an age requirement (or limit in our case as our youngest is 15!) Do you need to sign up in advance? Any special hours? Thanks for any information you have. It sounds like something I'd like to look at doing!!!

My 4 yr old did this in Oct. and he loved it. We just got there about 15 minutes before it started and got in line. They did turn some people away because they take a limited number of children. I believe they start at 11:30 or so. The times are posted in front of the "kitchen".

It's really fun - our son enjoyed it. The chefs give each child a job to do so everyone gets a chance to participate. However, as Buzzboys stated, they do take a limited amount of children. I think there were about 8-10 kids when we were there. So, find out what the times are and get there a little early.

Awwwww... The Allears site says children between 3 and 10 I wonder if I can convince them that DS15 is really just a BIG 10 y.o.? Oh well. I imagine there will be grandchildren somewhere in my future - I just hope DD18 waits 10 years or so!!!
