It was finally time to eat!
(Also don't know why I didn't take individual pictures of our plates, but you can make out my mom's and a little bit of DH's plate)
DH ordered the lamb chops with polenta. Oh gosh, the lamb was ridiculous. It melted in your mouth quite literally! Oh so weve been hearing awesome things about the truffled mac and cheese, so DH wanted to see if he could sub the polenta for the mac and cheese, and instead of subbing it, our server gave it to him as another side! He also did the same for me so we wouldnt have to share! What a swell guy!
I ordered the Filet Mignon
..I finished the entire thing. I was so embarrassed considering I had two plates of apps/salads. And for the love of everything, if anyone ever gets a chance to come here, PLEASE try the mac and cheese! Its disgustingly good and rich!
.i ate all of that too
My mom ordered the Free range chicken breast, which was actually delicious! I would never have ordered it myself, seeing as how I can make a chicken breast at home if I wanted to, but it was super tender and had the most fabulous sauce on it!
After our meal it was time for dessert! Which is the most important part of any meal, IMO!
See all the desserts? Yes, we tried every single dessert! I took a few on my plate, DH took a few on his, and my mom put a few on hers, so we were all able to try everything without being greedy! AND on top of that, I ordered the chocolate martini, which was recommended to me and is absolutely incredible.
AND on top of that our server brought out a chocolate molten something
I dont remember. I just remember being on sugar overload and super happy and content
and I ate half of it still even after all the desserts I already ate
Ugh, it was time to go. And I didnt want to. I had such a fabulous time with my family. BUT there was one more thing that I needed to do
.check out the BATHROOM!
But first a few more pics!
This is the bartender who made my to-die-for martini!
And see that table?! This table was in Mary Poppins!
And heres me in the bathroom! (dont worry I made sure no one else was in there!)
The vanity area
The toilet! I wonder how many people have actually forgotten to lift up the seat?!
A shot of the stall door:
And the sink area:
It was very weird walking out of Club 33, because when the doors opened, there was a TON of people right outside the door and everyone was trying to look in, some even tried to walk in!
This was one of the best experiences of my life! And now I can actually say Ive been to Club 33, when not many people can say that. This was actually on my Bucket List and I never thought Id be able to scratch it off my list so soon and Im forever grateful to my good friend
--------------------------------------------------
Now i'm not sure what happened, but I have no more pictures from the rest of that day or the next day!
I'm thinking what happened was that DH cleared it from my other camera (I always take two camera, one point and shoot, and one dslr) and all my crappier pictures from the point and shoot, got erased
So now I can't update the rest of my trip! At least I got the most important part of the trip THANK GOODNESS!!
All you really need to know is that I had a FANTABULOUS time on this trip! Nobody was throwing up (which is always good) and everyone was in a very happy mood!
