Does anyone know if you can make reservations at the Bahama Breeze over by the Marriott complex of hotels?

Leah

I think it is standard for their company to not take reservations at any of their locations, but they do a phone ahead wait list. That Bahama Breeze is not as busy as the one on I-Drive, so if you call 30 to 45 mins. before you want to dine, you should be ok. The waits are always longer on Friday and Saturday nights.

We had read that the Bahama Breeze was so neat. So on our vacation a few years ago, we visited for dinner. I wasn't really impressed. It seemed a bit smaller and didn't have the neat things that people had talked about on the internet. They put 5 of us (adults) at a table for 4, which was very tight. One of us had to sit on the end. It was crowded and people kept bumping me (I got the end.)
Anyway, I wonder if we ended up at the wrong Bahama Breeze. What is the location of the really cool one if there's more than 1 in Orlando?
Thanks! We want to do it right next time,

I've never been a huge fan of Bahama Breeze...I've eaten at the Altamonte Springs location a few times...I suppose I'm just not all that into the Caribbean-type dishes that seem to be their speciality...and, as an aside, their Mojitos weren't that great either.

Pomcoach----It's not just BB--Hard Rock, Planet Hollywood, etc. try to squeze people into smaller tables.I have always complained about restaurant's seating policies when it comes to odd numbered groups. They seem to go DOWN a number instead of up--and squeezing someone in. The final straw came when we went to Planet Hollywood with a party of nine---two of who were "children". These "childern" are bigger than me. They put into a booth for 8 and then refused to move us or part of our party--and there were plenty of empty tables. What our family now does is go up a number we tell the host/hostess. If we're a party of five we're going to say party of six. And I don't hesitate to say "no" when they try to seat you and ask "Is this ok?".
