I am looking to see some pics of Baggallinis. Both being worn and close up shots of fabric.

Trying to decide between the rip stop, crinkle and microfiber and without seeing close up pics it is very hard to decide.

Many thanks!!!:goodvibes

did you try their website? i think a lot of sites who sell them use all the same pics, lol. do have AAA nearby? the larger ones usually carry baggallini and they may not have the one you want but at least you can see the different fabrics and such. good luck. i just got the purple ripstop messenger.

Hi, jumping in on your Baggallini thread:) Are the messenger bags made so they can easily move to the front of you when getting on rides etc.? from a picture on a model it looks sort of more a backpack:confused3

Love it for everyday but I am not bringing it to Disney. The sling is not comfortable for me for longer periods of time. I need a backpack.

it depends which shoulder you have it on whether it will sit in front or back. i've always used a backpack for wdw and i think i will like this better as it will be easier to just flip the other way yet still sit comfortably. that's one thing that always bugged me about my backpack--either asking dh to get something out of it for me or having it slip off one shoulder trying to keep it in the front. i will be bringing my backpack and fannypack though, just to have some options. i have other baggallini products in the rip-stop and microfiber and i prefer the nylon for wdw, it's lighter. i got the messenger through shoebuy.com for a backpack i like lesportsac--sooo light. i wish baggallini made a good backpack. oh, my last trip i wore the fannypack to keep valuables close and i had my camera case attached to the waist strap, it really worked out well but i always seem to need a few more things, esp w/ a 2yo so i need something else...

I have the crinkle and it looks like smooth nylon w/a very faint crinkle pattern in it. It's nice. The Rip Stop is sort of like parachute material. It has a criss cross pattern in it. Here's a link to the Rip stop one on ebags (click on the photo to enlarge and you can see the criss cross pattern)

hth and have fun shopping.

Thank you so much! That site was very helpful and allowed me to see the crinkle and rip stop materials close enough to decide. Definitely going with the crinkle.

Many thanks again!

Here mine: LOVE it!

I have this bag, too! Lime green, of course... I LOVE it too. I know that several people did not find it too comfortable all day, but it never bothered me. I am short, 5' in shoes ;) , and did not wear mine on my back like the ebags link. I wore mine more on my hip like the pp. When I got on a ride, I just slung the bag in my lap, no problem.

There is a TON of space in this bag. I got the rip stop nylon, and was really pleased with how it held up. My stuff stayed dry, there was plenty of room for camera and other stuff. LOVE the bag for the price...

I got the baggalini messenger bag for our last trip and absolutely loved it! It held everything we needed for a day at the parks. I will say that it didn't suit my SIL as much as me, though. Her son is 4 and I think they just had too much stuff for a bag like that (change of clothes, shoes, etc. - we just had things like camera, wallet, note cards, ADR info, etc.) It's really pretty roomy inside and has lots of different compartments - always a bonus! It also held my phone in the strap in front - very convenient as I could hear it better there!

A couple of pics:

The one time it got uncomfortable was with this tank - the metal buckle was directly on my skin at my collar bone and by the end of the day it hurt!

Good luck!

Wow - these are great pics - both of the bag and your gorgeous family!

Many thanks!

Thank you for showing me the picture too.
I kept thinking I need one even though I had never seen one :rotfl2:
For those that have older children, do you still find a need to wear something so large? If you do not bring your camera...gasp...I know, do you really need such a large bag? I was going to order one tomorrow while at work but now that I see the picture, wonder if I really need something that big. I usually bring a very small bag that I wear over my shoulders as you wear the baggallini.
I still can't get myself to purchase crocks though :rotfl:

I have been trying to decide about the Baggallini Messenger. I have to boys, ds4 and ds2. ds2 is still in diapers. I have not had a bag for myself in 4 years. so I decided against the larger messenger and ordered the new Baggallini Uptown Bagg. I will use it for the trip but also can use as my everyday bag. For the trip I am going to stick diapers, wipes, clothes etc. in my dss Cars backpack and leave that in the stroller. I will have our important stuff and camera in my uptown bag. Any way I really like the messenger but am a little tired of big bags. boy can I ramble...

LOL
I too always swore after the kids were older I would NEVER get a big bag LOL
I was tired of them then and don't want them now.
I will look at the uptown bag though.

Gosh, thanks so much! I'll definitely be keeping DH and my 2 DDs - not only good looking but fun too!

Honestly, I can't remember everything I had in there, but I do think I needed it. My camera is pretty small - just a point and shoot - but it combined with my other stuff made pretty good use of the bag. It wasn't jam packed, though, which was good because I can't stand bags to be actually full. It all depends on the person, though - a lot of people don't bring a bag at all and I don't think I could ever do that.

Have fun deciding and planning your trip!
